I think that sometimes, despite the fact that yes, you know better - you still hope that the person on the other side of the screen will be 'nice' and behave like a gentleman. I think that regardless of the anonymity pertaining to the interwebs, comments and namecalling hurts more than you'd like to admit. Going by my own experiences of this nature (sans cam), these little 'fights' on the interwebs are most aggravating because you end up getting hurt and you just don't have the armory to make that person either see that you've been upset, or possibly hurt them back to the same degree. You can't even get the last word in without the whole thing escalating even further.
