To simplify it so that even you can't miss the point.

The resulting conviction and sentance proves that the military court can be fair even if the politics behind how the case landed in their laps isn't.

Don't blame the military courts for the politics of the situation.

Well, Aafia Siddiqui's just had a bail hearing in the NY Southern District Court, so pick any of them I guess.

This is the best article I have found citing the study I mentioned.
I called it a conservative estimate because if there is any bias in the study I would have to guess it would be towards the conservative side of the argument.


That's why you're SUPPOSED TO get arraigned within 72 hours. To ensure that innocent people aren't held without cause.
