Status: offline 		I haven't been on the boards in awhile, but thought I would check in.    My boy, capturedlad, and I live together now and are trying to balance the responsibilities of vanilla life with the fun of D/s and BDSM.  It's sometimes a challenge!  Anyway, it's nice to see how everyone else has been doing, and I wish everyone the best!

Status: offline 		With all the good news flying around I just had to come back and share some more. I spoke with my girl yesterday and she told me that it's fine with her if I use her nic in my posts (I'm a stickler for privacy I guess).
 
Gypsygrl will be moving in 13 days from now! She came for a visit a while back and things went great. After she left I knew we/I had found the right one when Scooter commented that after she left when he looked across the diningroom table it just felt like someone was missing.
 
And my grandson is home from college for the week so we get two days with him. He had he first real job this summer, he said it's boring and tedius, very humbling for him but he's learned the importance of being organized. I'm so proud of him, he is eligble for some sort of disability for the blind but refuses it, he wants to make his own way and I just know he's gonna do it! And having this job really introduces him to the real world. This year he starts his third year of college on a five year scholarship!
 
And I just received news that my son is gonna be a daddy. Not sure how to take that considering years ago they told him he was totally sterile... time will tell I guess. I hope like hell it is his baby, I don't want to see him destroyed by that ... his wife.

Jewel I am so excited for all of your good news!! I just had a feeling the other day when I caught something either you or Gypsygrl commented to the other on a thread.

As far as the pending grandson and your concerns. One of my grandsons I have my doubts about but will never ever say a word about it to my son. He has always behaved as though they are both his. I don't know if he's ever wondered, given her track record. He is a smart guy so I have to think he has. I just don't think it really matters to him. He is daddy no matter what. Sometimes, facts are just not that important.

Being that this is my favorite forum, I thought that I'd answer the roll call.  I got collared last month (braceleted in truth) to Lady Meade.  Consequently, I have been introduced to several people in my local area (SinSinnati), and attened an IMASss gathering in Indy.  I have yet to make it to any of my local Munches.  This is really too bad; I like to eat. ;-) 

I have decided to take a hiatus from teaching the new candidates for my ski patrol this year (classes started this month).  The worst part of this summer has been following the fire news from Califonia.  Some times I ache for the days before I got hurt.  My "rut job" still sucks but I keep plugging away.  Next month I am going to get my knee fixed! 

This summer has had it's ups and downs (mostly ups).

Status: offline 		Yay, roll call! First and foremost, I am really glad to see you posting again Mistress of Ga. You and your thoughtful comments have been missed.

As for me, it has been a very busy summer. Lots of travel (both for work and for fun) and lots of scene parties. Things are still going well with sissyemily serving me - I think she's even been busier than I have, if that is possible. I've also gone out a few times with a really great guy who is a submissive, so that is encouraging. I don't want to rush anything, but overall life looks pretty good from my little corner of the world. If the nice weather here holds off between now and my vacation, I will offcially be delighted - I do not want to go camping in oppressive heat, but so far the summer here has been very mild and wonderful.

Status: offline 		I'm a couple of months new to Atlanta GA from Ohio/WVA/PA state line.  My 2 children started school today. We are still unpacking boxes in our new apartment. I miss my sub who is still living in Pittsburgh PA - he is not moving here.  I have chatted with a few very nice subs here on CM and have made my decisions as to which ones I am going to meet this upcoming week.  I am interviewing for jobs because I need different work hours - Im seeking a part-time Dungeon job, if any of you know of one hiring in Atlanta. please let me know.  I do work as an Executive Assistant but it is taking up too much of my living time.   Other than that,  Life is good.

Status: offline 		Good to see the Roll Call back, one of those social events here not to be missed.

In an earlier Roll Call (April?) post, i mentioned that i'd gotten the last 2 rungs on the frenum ladder done, and they are healthly little guys, so i'm very happy about that. The scrotal CBR, however, rejected and had to come out. Waaah.

Two months ago i met Someone here at CM and things have progressed very well. We are meeting for the first time this coming weekend, i am treating Her to a spa weekend at a resort in the mountains here in Arizona. A lot of the vanilla & D/s compatibility that is needed for the LTR we both would want is there, so i am hoping, hoping, hoping. We also have plans for Folsom Fringe, so i guess we think this weekend will go OK. Also plans to meet with Domme friends at Fringe, that have supported me in my searching.

Status: offline 		Well - my summer has had its ups and downs... i started off at a Writing Festival in June. i am working on a novel.  my mini dungeon is coming along nicely - i recieved my cage from Sonny Black in June.  i had a nice play partner in July, but unfortunatly She has been ill. i found a new job. It will be nice to have a little extra cash. All in all - life goes on...

Status: offline 		What a lovely idea this is!.  I'm not so new to bondage.com, but I just discovered the message boards and am finding my way around.  And I must say this is a great way to get to know the "locals."  Do you initiate this every month, Lady Pact, or do people share the responsibility?  Thank you so much for the idea.
 
About me, I live in Northern California - the Bay Area - and love it. I work full time for a non-profit agency and am partnered with a submissive man for the last four years.  We are actually planning a wedding in two months. That is taking a lot of our time this month as is the fact that I have my three biggest projects of the year due within the next two months.  So life is a bit stressful right now and I must admit, there is little time or energy for play.  Life does have a way of taking over now and then.
 
I look forward to reading through the posts and getting to know some of the regulars here.

Status: offline 		I'm keeping everyone in my thoughts.. and finally posting in my first roll call.

It's great to read what's up in everyone's life.  I hesitated at the beginning of the month as relationship-wise, life has not been so great this summer.  We are however, re committed and working on things and I am probably feeling better than I have in months right now -- finally!  My primary is back on track.  I have had to come to grips with the fact that a great deal of the conflict was caused by me and weird stuff going on in my head and heart.  Luckily, I try to be self-aware AND self correcting. *grin*  Its working right now.

Previous distraction (occasional secondary and male) is working it again to get into my good graces (I've written about him some in this forum) and it seems to be working.  We're slowly rebuilding what we had before and enjoying the time we spend together.

Work is stressful, although last week I finished up an important two day meeting I'd been planning for several months and it went better than I could have imagined -- can't complain about that.  With any luck, work will start to calm down a bit now.

Status: offline 		First off, I'd like to thank everyone who has participated in the roll call!  I really enjoy listening to what is happening with everyone.  Of course, sorry to hear that some folks are having a tougher time than others.  For those who were willing to share the health issues they are facing, know that I'm sending My best thoughts out to you.  Very special thoughts to those who are dealing with matters of the heart.

For everyone who thanked about putting the roll call up, no problem.  It's been a while since we had one, and from the number of responses, it seems it was missed.  There's still plenty of room for more responses (I'm sure CM won't run out of room) so please feel free to chime in!  Some of you are noticeably absent.  Let's hear from you!

Congrats to all of the folks who are having happy times!  It's always fun to hear the success stories.

As for concern for Me, I do have to tell you how much I appreciate it.  I  promise you that I am doing well.  In fact, I've laughed and smiled more these last few days than I have in a long time, and it's felt really good.  I admit, I really have high hopes for this demo and the days surrounding it.
