The Audacity of Haughty

Obama's image problem is getting worse, not better.

NumberSix -> RE: The Audacity of Haughty (8/10/2008 11:00:22 AM)

And McCain ain't never had one.

So here we sit, comparing and contrasting for our president, a couple of the lowest denominator fuckwads alive today....

Um; no surprises there.

I don't recall in my voting lifetime when that was not so.

There are no Statesmen, just a long parade of poorly qualified applicants.

How do we know he`s not just another payed journalist, on Rove`s payroll? It`s a pertinent question, now a days.

This is more of the same old tear down techniques and yesterday's talking points.

Are you proposing that Obama has the humility of Mother Teresa?  "Yes" or "No" will suffice.

Sanity -> RE: The Audacity of Haughty (8/10/2008 11:29:27 AM)

"But... but... but... McCain!!! Rove! McCain!!!"

Shut up man, you sound like a motorboat.

A truly unbiased report CL,thanks for the link....roflmao

If I ever had any doubt that certain posters here are being paid off in some fashion to keep the 'Us vs. Them' bullshit going  in order to distract people from the reality that there is no actual choice, that cinches it.

Riiiiiiiight...

There is no difference between Barack Obama and John McCain...

Same question as posed to Owner59.  Are you proposing that Obama has the humility of Mother Teresa?  "Yes" or "No" will suffice.

Looks like typical August fluff & fill to me, Celt.  The disconnect between Barry, and the beer drinkers can be highlighted in much better ways than this.

Now the columnists comments about Obama being thin-skinned might grow into something.  Wouldn't it be ironic if McCain came off as the calmer one under pressure?

Given McCain's reputation for a fiery temper.....very ironic.

Curiously enough, it also seems very plausible.

Paid?  In money?  Where do I get in line for this?

So sorry, but you have to be a hideous alien who eats and breathes pollution and who hates people of color, gays, children, and the elderly to qualify. There are other requirements, but those are the big ones...

There are more pay offs than money for the faithful.

Oh, do share those salient 'differences'....   Start with the obvious...does one of them open their eggs from the wrong end?

The 'faithful'?  Are political supporters akin to cult members now?

And I'd still like to know how to go about collecting my due.

Well, we already know he will say whatever it takes to insure the best outcome for himself.

He has admitted that.

Alumbrado -> RE: The Audacity of Haughty (8/10/2008 12:12:25 PM)

Cult members?... you are being kind...  And you've been getting the same sort of attention 'pay off' in terms of ego stroke  for how long, and under how many names now?

bipolarber -> RE: The Audacity of Haughty (8/10/2008 12:13:17 PM)

I swear, CL must masturbate to anti-Obama thoughts...

The convention is coming up shortly... let's see if Obama has a problem filling the Denver stadium... and then we'll compare that to McCain having trouble filling a VFW Hall in Bugtussel, PA.

So far, the only thing McCain has really been able to level against Obama, re: "his image problem" is an ad that shows Obama stinding in front of 200,000 europeans, all happily waving the American flag (instead of burning it) Yup... that's an image problem alright... but NOT for Obama. "Whaaaaaa! Obama's so popular! He must not be ready to lead, what with all those people behind him! Everyone know you have to be a Republican with an approval rateing in the <20% range to be a REAL leader!"
