Why would the Chi Com Government want to mare what was otherwise a beautiful opening? In this day in age did they really think they would get away with it? For the same reason that major performers lip synch and insert samples in their live concerts.

I don't really see that big of a deal here. A lot of what we see these days is manufactured ... something like the footprints that they filmed before time due to production concerns doesn't bother me.

I thought they did an awesome job with the show. But then again, I don't consider special effects cheating.
