I hear that "request", though not nearly as often now.
The thing is, I don't know how to teach anyone to know what I'm thinking. I  pretty much know what Master is thinking...I don't know how I "learned" to do that, and I sure don't know how to teach HIM how to know what I'm thinking.
So, how do you teach someone to know what you're thinking?

I am who I believe...and have been for the 5+ years we've been together. It's interesting you saying "By example"...because I have sometimes said to him " It's as if YOU are becoming more like me, picking up MY "bad habits". As if all the things I sorta see as faults in me, YOU are becoming"

If you have what you perceive as bad habits, why not improve them?  Like you say, he is picking up your 'bad habits' and to me, that is him seeing you comfortable instead of you showing him they make you feel they are 'bad habits' - so he just goes with the flow - particularly if they are no real issue to him - if that makes any sense.

I think that the more time that you spend with someone, the easier it is to pick up on what he/she is thinking.  With that said you also need to be interested enough to try and get into his/her head.

Now there's a scary thought. ( Especially as I DO know what's in HIS head, and not vice versa )

@ the.dark:  I guess I got tired of "showing him " they make me feel bad ....all you said makes a lot of sense, thank you.
