I do see the relations to a submissive nature. Especially in some of the various stories I have read she questions not only herself, but her decisions. Something that I know at least I have gone through in the past in relation to this lifestyle. And you can't help but feel for Psyche and of the fact she is as gullible as the story makes her sound. I think that on some level that fits since most of us stumble into this lifestyle and it takes us a while to find our feet that we can relate. Not that we are gullible but that we enter new and unknowing, especially as we look back on our mistakes and near misses. It is a shame that some of us go through the pain she does, not by trying to discover who her lover is, but through the disillusionment. To either be hurt or believe others who may not have our best interests in mind. Though I think the story fits into most relationships we are always questioning a good thing. Here she is with every whim catered to and yet she allows her sisters jealousy to allow her to be swayed. She is just lucky that in the end she after long weary travels, much like the rest of us, to find her love and her master. But given the archetype Psyche it relates at least I think to all our Pandora like urges. We are always curious and looking for something more, the question is whether we can find a way to be happy with what we have. I know this little subby is :)
