BunnyBoyBrandon -> When did BDSM become about money? (8/12/2008 10:00:29 AM)

Honestly, slaves are not walking atm machines.

I can understand if your a pro domme and expect some money, thats fine cause thats a job right? Because i'm sure you have an equipped dungeon and bondage gear isnt cheap, that and the customer knows what he/she is paying for. Now to the other fake bimbos who are looking for a "tribute" honestly you people are in the wrong place, sugardaddy.com is right down the street. It's just so upsetting to look in your area and notice most dommes have "Pay me bitch, the water bill is due next month." pretty much stamped in there profiles; and its a contonious cycle as you look at other peoples profiles. Are some women/men that manipulative that they try to cover up their need for material posessions with bdsm? That disgusts me the more I type this it just gives an already socially unacceptable lifestyle a much worse name.

Dont get me wrong, if you became my mistress or whatever I would want to serve you to the best of my ability and make you happy and all that (atleast to a point, theres a difference between being nice and being taken advantage of), although a good domme who cared for their slaves wouldnt desire mostly material things. But if the FIRST thing I read is how you need some sort of bank card then fuck it, good luck scamming people.

Maybe this has been brought up before and maybe it hasnt but its really a disease that needs to go away. -_- That or CM needs filtering done.

z0mg!  You don't mean it!!!  People really do that here on CM?????

Wow!  You are the very first to ever post on such a topic!  I am amazed and stunned.

Good luck in your search dude.  This is the internet and people scam people all the time.  You just have to weed thru the bullshit, just like your email inbox.

Don't get discouraged.. the longer you live and the more life experience you get, you won't be so surprised at things like this and you will be able to determine early in the relationship if you are being scammed or not.  You live..you learn.

While the OP may be bringing up things that might have already been discussed, I do agree with this. There are many, many places that professionals can go to advertise.

Sincerely,

You take away from a relationship or experience that which you highlight.
You highlight that which you are attracted to.
You attract that which you equate.
You do the math and solve your problem.

hmmmmmmmmmm ..A "tribune".. do you want the Mesa Tribune or the Atlanta Tribune?

Let me guess.. you're divorced.. right?

(We don't have "his and hers" money... it goes into the pot and 'need' overides 'want' not the people.)

PanthersMom -> RE: When did BDSM become about money? (8/12/2008 12:58:59 PM)

when did bdsm become about money?  when some pro decided to ask for money and some yahoo coughed it up, same as with any other "service".  simple supply and demand, there was a market.

Here's a question for the ladies:  How many men offer you money without even being asked in an attempt to get what they want?  I wonder who was first eons ago.. the man offering money.. or the woman asking for it?

beargonewild -> RE: When did BDSM become about money? (8/12/2008 2:34:25 PM)

WOW...so that's what I'm doing wrong all these years...well sonabitch.

*sigh* guess that's why I prefer being the other man, get bought dinner and drinks and all I gotta do is put out. Yep, life is good.
