I joined the site a few months ago and got bombarded with emails from so called Doms telling me to kneel to them. All they seemed to be interested in was sex and not about the mental control, or needing to submit to someone. How do you know who are the real Doms and who are the wannabees.

Can anyone tell me what usually happens, does a Dom get to know you for a while before he mentions having sex with you or is it just all about sex

This is not at all an uncommon thing. Unfortunatly the only option is to hit block and move on. The Mail controls in your email can be your best friend. Use them to sort by age, location etc to focus in more closly to who/what you're looking for. Then just go with your gut. If they sound loke a pozer or make you want to wash off the sleeze, block and move on. I have met some wonderful Dom's on here that I call friends and even met my current sub here. Good luck, have some patience and don't be afraid to hold out for what you're looking for.

As they say in Microsoft, it's not a glitch; it's a feature. Treat it as a litmus test that lets you know if a guy isn't on the same page as you are.

That said, "sex" is always part of my initial negotations because much of my play is highly sexual but does not include intercourse (a basic rule is to keep that between Libby and me) so that's something I think people considering playing with me need to know.

Of course, most of the time when I'm meeting people, it isn't online. Online I'm mostly there to offer advice and assistance. We tend to find potential play partners at face to face events.

my experience with this that you just have to sift carefully thru the mass of junk mails from those to find the few and rare one's worth taking a second look to. there are some awesome Doms here to be found on this site,

If he mentions sex and You have only just started to talk, he is just some horny dude calling him self a dom looking for sex ( be cause after all don't we all know if your a real sub you will have sex with him)

I totally can relate to you...I am also getting bombarded with the same type of emails ...I will not respond to emails such as that because I REAL Dominant Respects us as people First and Foremost...I am surprised that Mature aged men can act like Sex starved teenagers LOL ... I have to believe that there are some Decent & Respectful & Real Dominants on here. All I can say is use your Best judgement when you decide to meet One of them ...I am learning to listen to my Gut feeling about People.
