Depends entirely on the format, Hippie.  So far, Obama has run away from sharing the stage with McCain.

Quite frankly both of them make me sick. I do know that McCain when hes having a good day can debate, and yes Obama has been ducking doing just that. Honestly Obama can spout change all he wants but anyone who reaches this level of politics is still a lobbiest puppet. *sigh*

If Obama is given the chance to prep his answers he will do quite well.  He will run into trouble if he has to speak off the cuff.  This has not been his strength.  The moderators are all basically in favor of Obama, so it is likely to be slowpitch from this point of view.  i am not terribly surprised, but a bit disappointed that Obama seems to fear McCain in an open forum Town Hall encounter.  Obama's stammering "Uh's" make me worry about his suggestion of open face to face meetings with foreign leaders.  He sounds uncertain, and a bit of a smart ass, even in English.  (Read your bibles, people, and put air in your tires).  Either way, it is probably best to plan on hot summers and cold winters, and i think i might buy a bicycle.

Well looks like folks are gonna get what they have been asking for... recent polls seem to have forced the issue. CNN will be hosting...
