siamsa24 -> What's for dinner? (11/20/2005 2:47:43 PM)

I just finished making pea soup with potatoes and carrots and am having that with french bread.

What's everyone else having for dinner?

Yummy, I'm jealous of your dessert [:)]

Haven't decided yet. Either a turkey breast sandwich on really good whole wheat, with a slice of aged Swiss or a Boca soyburger thingie on a really good whole wheat bun with that same slice of Swiss. And a big glass of orange juice. My daily regimen is very healthy, but also very boring. I like it, though.

Have Boca burgers gotten better over the past few years? I remember that I used to try to eat them back in high school and they were just awful. I want to try them again (I use the crumbles in almost everything that asks for ground beef), but I am afraid they are still gag-inducing

baked chicken and baked potatoes - would have had homemade biscuits, but someone doesn't like them and I wasn't about to go to the effort of making them if she wasn't going to eat them. I'll probably make cookies though ... I need something sweet.

For those who missed it on CNN: I decided to go with the turkey breast sandwich. Film at 11.

Well, the basic, original Boca patties are pretty pathetic. I like the grilled vegetable ones. There are other tasty ones, too, but they are higher in calories and fats. I tried one of their DiGiorno-like pizzas and found it really really.....bad.
