Ok, so there is a post on the Sub/Slave board about whether movie villains turn the subs on. I have a companion question for the Dominas... Do you find yourself drawn to movie villains with "colleague" or 'replacement' fantasies? I have to admit that I would have -loved- to team up with Poison Ivy, or the lead singer of Garbage from the James Bond theme video for The World Is Not Enough...she gets to keep the poison lips -- but I get poison nails!... and I would love to teach some of the movie villains real patience... it is absolutely NO fun to kill your mousie so quickly... then what do you have to play with??? So, does anyone else have Mata Hari fantasies? CFB

Not me. I identify with the hero with the twist that after I rescue someone and help him heal, he kneels to me out of gratitude and learns to enjoy the positive aspects of intense sensations and pain.

No, not the villains persay. Sometimes the really complex characters that on the surface appear to be one way or another then as the story unfolds you see all of the delicious complexities that means you cannot either completely hate, or love, them.

I was ALWAYS Catwoman as a child... and I still relate to her to this day -- Julie Newmar only, there is no other... while I liked Eartha Kitt, she never seemed to have the sexual compatibility that Julie Newmar did with Batman. Catwoman ... that leaves me smiling this afternoon... as this Catwoman just had lunch with her Batman and sent him home to find a buttplug and call me during my next meeting. [sm=domme.gif]

I relate more to the anti-heros than the straight-up villains -- though I will admit that I do have a decent collection of Disney Villains items around my house. The Wicked Queen from Snow White is engaged in a never-ending battle with Tinkerbell 'round these parts [:D] But along the vein of anti-heroes, I relate the best to Lady Vengeance. You can't really call her the good guy, you can't really call her the bad guy. She's looking out for herself and has her own sense of justice for the wrongs that were done to her, and she'll stop at nothing to right them. Really she's not that far off from myself, although I must admit I was never accused of killing someone and blackmailed into keeping quiet, hehe...

I see myself as a variety of compelling characters, both heroic and villanous. I like the Wicked Queen much better than Snow White; even as a kid I thought she was prettier and more interesting. But I also like and identify with (in no particular order): Vampirella, General Patton, Wonder Woman, Linda Hamilton in "Terminator 2", Witchie-Poo from "H.R. Pufinstuff." And no, I really don't know how Patton ended up in the mix.

I bet you could be really wicked. crxmalesub Hmmm... to me, whether it was the Nazi storm troopers or the Star Wars storm troopers, to me those always struck me as drones... plus, their whole well-planned agenda just doesn't trip my trigger. It's interesting, I'm not particularly drawn to the villains who have a nice, neat agenda -- For me, the ones that attract me are either the villains who are chaotic (Poison Ivy vs. Darth Vader or even the Emperor), or the good guys who really are a bit screwed up in the head... not "good" -- just on the right side for right now, (Electra, the Punisher, Ghost Rider, Daredevil, Sandman etc.) Calla Firestorm

FR: Yah, Poison Ivy just liked to watch 'em die. You gotta like that in a girl. And of course the fact that she was "modeled after" Bette Page just makes her even hotter. Calla: One of the really wonderful things about the current "evil" incarnate we're being given to watch (and by that I mean Heath Leger's amazing performance as The Joker in an otherwise "ok" movie) is the total chaotic nature of his evil. One of the reasons one of my all-time favorite nasty boys is Hannibal Lector is that mix of absolute lack of morality coupled with a gleeful sense of humor. And I agree with you on Daredevil, although in the end you know he's gonna be lawfully good. And LadyHibiscus: are you so sure River isn't a badass bad girl? You never really know... E.

While I truly enjoyed Jack Nicholson's Joker in the last series of movies...the current incarnation is another creature entirely... More "Joker" than any version I've seen so far. If I weren't such a priss he could certainly be a 'soul-less-mate'. I love this quote from Alfred "Because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn." Me.. I just want to watch it bleed... which is why I think I'm so stuck on the whole issue of having to have -consent-... Consent is what keeps me on the "chaotic good" side of the line. CFB
