You know you have met a loser sub when after the second meeting he tells you he is getting fired and he could retire if he had a place to live for free... ehhhhh!

This would just turn into a -- she did this to me -- he did this -- well i had this done to me--
and a free for all gets started.  We need to be more positive.

If you need to vent find a already existing thread and join it.

There are many frogs to kiss on both sides,  we must learn how to get rid of the actual frog taste at times.

I don't really think of someone as a 'loser'......just incompatible.  Ok, ok, some are so NOT compatible they damn near come full circle to be almost compatible that its scary....

But, I know I've met someone incompatible online when
...they abbreviate 3 letter words
...spell come as 'cum'
...attached a picture of their little soldier and couldn't even make it salute long enough to take the pic and make a decent first impression.

I know I've met someone incompatible real-time when
....I'd rather operate on myself with a dinner fork, than spend another minute with them in conversation

I used to teach public speaking/debate and judge competitions (age 8 to post grad).  I lost count of the number of times I've wanted to stab myself in the eye with a co-judges pencil to get out of hearing another poorly formed "china" argument.

Yeah, I stayed away from this because I was full of wtf.  I mean, second date, getting to know each other, statement of fact.  "I've got some money but not enough for all expenses including housing.  I could be a househusband or whatever, and aprtially self-supportive."  I just don't see the loserism here.  Except, um, the obvious, that other people have pointed to.

..or it could mean he's fallen down on his luck in these hard times with downsizing and budget cuts and who wouldn't want to retire and live for free??
There are people out there who want to do this for someone..pay for their living expenses, live with them for free. There's someone for everyone. They're just not for you.

had this happen to me, who would have known I was going to be let go, shit happens but that does not make us losers, just down in our lives sometimes.  Good quote to think about:    'Don't look down on a person unless you are picking them up' author unknown.

You know, I love a good rant.  I love a good gossip session with my girlfriends.  But I am just not a fan of meanness, which is what I believe this thread intends to be.  Constructive criticism: here's the problem, here's a way to fix it; is productive and kind.  I keep coming back to this thread because I am waiting for the OP to fix it and make it something better, kinder, and more constructive...sigh.
