I guess since I'm a bit of a forum junkie, i'll put a bit of info up here about myself so you folks can get a picture of who and what I am. I began my BDSM journey in '99 officially, but have had the ideas and urges for much longer. I've always been a leader in my dealings with other people and I do know how to keep people on track. I guess this qualifies me as a Dominant. I will NOT claim to be a "master". With barely over 6 years officially practicing and studying this lifestyle, I can honestly say I do not have the experience base to be considered a "master" in the common vernacular. Yes, I have "mastered" several play styles, I've mastered my own psyche, and I'm a "master" mechanic, but I'm no master. My interests are varied both inside the lifestyle and outside. I do have a life that does not include BDSM and I enjoy various past times "out there" as well. One of my few pet peeves is lack of respect shown most Dominants by submissives. You may wonder what I mean, and I'm going to tell you. Being a Dominant is a VERY stressful job..and yes, it is a LOT of work and a LOT of responsibility. It's not just saying "do this" and "fetch that". Every action, decision, and command of the Dominant should be designed to further his/her submissives growth. To me, anything less is nothing more than a vanilla relationship with some kink(at best) and abuse at worst. There ya have it...some of my philosophy...which I'm sure won't go over real well with a lot of folks..but it's mine and I'll stand by it. SirButchTX
