Be aware that there is a 'known bug' on CM, that they have not quite worked out yet, which causes some accounts not to be able to send out mail. The mail zaps itself out of your mailbox, a very short while later it shows itself marked as 'read' - but it never arrives at its destination. Other than that, I agree with the no profile being a problem. A mistress may wish to know more about you, and to feel that, if she put herself out there for you to know, then you should return the favor with a profile of your own before she writes you. A profile includes some information that you simply can't duplicate in a mail - like a link to your forum posts. Most of all, though - no matter how carefully i 'follow the instructions', or how polite i am, i do not feel that someone i am contacting with an inital contact - with whom i have never had any interaction at all - owes me anything. I do think it is rude if they take the time to write me just to be rude - but, short of that, it's okay. Why wold i even be upset or offended? Did you really want to be in a relationship or even friendship with someon who you find that rude - or, if i convince you it is, in fact, not really rude, then, with somone who has absolutely zero interest in you? esp. if they felt able to determine that they had zero interest from my 2 paragraph note and my profile - if they feel that way, why would i want to spend more time persueing this? I don't think it's rude - i think it is their right. Like when you say 'How's it going?' the the person in the next seat on the airplane and they respond by opening their magizine. Nothing rude about it - just their right.

Oh, amen to that. There are some that are literally so bad I feel like I'd get dumber just by taking the time to reply with my preferred method of their death. I send rude emails back to people who refuse to read my profile and email me looking for something based of my likes and dislikes. I HATE getting emails telling me how great a sub you would be or how great a Master you would be to me, all the while it says right there in big ol letters that IM NOT LOOKING IM HAPPILY MARRIED! Thats why I send "rude" emails. I, personally, think its rude to email someone without ever reading their profile telling you what they want and what they are looking for if anything. So with not reading my profile you get a rude response, you deserved it.

Actually I thought he had a good point about not feeding the trolls, however if it makes you feel better to vent, by all means have fun with it. I really don't think anything either way about them. I have more important things to muddle through, than worrying about what kind of interaction other mistresses are having with potential submissives. I think the more important question is to ask yourself, why are you bothering spending your time upset over someone you don't know & have had almost no interaction with
