Aneirin -> Metal patination ? (8/17/2008 4:14:45 PM)

Hi, I am looking for metal patination recipes using household chemicals, in particular a recipe that will create a light and dark green patina on copper.Have any of you here got any suggestions you would like to share, or where I may look on the net ?

If I'm remembering correctly, the craft store Michaels sells either a faux-patination or a legit patination kit, at least they did a couple years ago.  I think it's over by the framing section...?

No idea if they still carry it or if fakin' it is a sin in this case [:D] but that's all I got!
