I now have a box of clothes and things that are basically women's goodies in larger sizes, or to accomodate figures that have no waist/tits/hips... and as I look at this box, it seems very much to me like the same kind of box I had when I was a little girl. I put on the size 11 women's heels and a long strand of pearls and suddenly I feel like I'm 8 again playing dress up. I find it kind of cool- but I'm wondering, what do Sub Femmes really think of playing dress up this way? Is "dress up" a demeaning activity for someone who is actively exploring their sexuality and gender identification, or is fun?

Depends on the person.

For me, ALL clothes are costumes. Some I put more effort into than others, some more purposeful than others, but I'm a naked person naturally and I'd be fine staying that way. Clothes for me serve two purposes- protection from weather and decoration.

I personally do enjoy the idea of dressing up, or being dressed as a little girl or doll would be, but that just happens to be my kink.

I enjoy 'dress up' in a role play context. I tend not to gender bend, but that doesn't mean anything. To each their own.

What I like about it is that it takes me out of the day to day - I get to wear a 'costume' that I wouldn't normally, and that tends to enhance specific scenes in a role play context. For us, it's part of the framing of the scene.

I enjoy dressing up. Sometimes I like dressing like a dirty Parisian slut, straight out of some kind of bad movie. I'll smudge the mascara, and mess up my blue eyeshadow. Other days, I'll dress like a little girl with a short yellow sundress, and ribbons in my hair. Though I'm not really into to animal play, I did buy a very cool kitty mask in the style of Cirque De Soleil. It was pretty and sparkly, and on sale.

Good evening!
Whatever mood I am in is how I dress, every day. If I feel goth-y, I dress in my blacks. If I feel very submissive, I wear my "amish clothes". Sexy girl that "y'all can dream but not have" gets short skirts and heels. To make it worse , I love all kinds of music so that adds to how I feel and then how I dress. ::giggles::
I keep a few changes of clothes at Daddy's too..nighties, work dresses, slippers, and formal clothes. So if I come over it is his call as to what to wear or what to lay out for me. Some days it's jeans, others days the "witch/goth" look plus the hair style he likes...down or tails, or up. But I always seem to don the clothes that my mood is in...I hate sticking to one style of fashion. Thank the gods for thrift stores!! Good luck!

I usally dress in what is most comfortable for me usually jeans or shorts and t shirts,..W hen i have an occassion to get dressed up for i love being very girly girl. If Masters want me to dress in a specific way he tells me. Of course when we are alone in private he likes me to wear nothing at all. Basically he allwos me to dress in what i like.

i love dressing up, and my Domme loves it as well. we especially like the gender bend because when the panties come out, so does her strap on :)

this slave loves dressing for Master - He appreciates the way this slaves form looks, and sometimes it entertains Him to see his slave a specific way. It might be for his titilation (perhaps asking slave to wear something very formal like a business suit with PVC underwear beneath it so that only he knows) or it might be for slave's humiliation (slave has some issues with certain parts of her anatomy and therefore anything that draws attention to it mortifies her). Whatever the reason it always leads to situations which are satisfying for me in some way - i get to either serve as slut or suffer indignities and torutres for His pleasure thus pleasing me. Dress up brilliant!
