ChamberQueen  I hear you on that one.  I don't know how to begin to describe the smell but I find it the most comforting and arousing smell ever.  It makes me feel weird even admitting it but I love it.

That and the smell of Cool Water by Davodiff [:D][:D][:D]  The best smell in the world

Mmm... something about smell just goes right to the center of the brain.  Catching a whiff of my boy's favorite shampoo or deodorant is enough to get me all hot and bothered, and passing too someone wearing too much cologne is enough to make me ill for hours.

My human sexuality prof once said in lecture that it's been proven that a man will smell more attractive to a woman if she's ovulating, and vice versa.  It's also been proven that a person whose natural immunities to disease are significantly different than your own will smell better than one whose match yours.  Both mechanisms are meant to ensure that babies get made, and that they're as healthy as possible.

I feel like the odd woman out.  I get ill when I am around anyone who wears any kind of cologne, aftershave,  perfume or heavy scented soup.  My eyes get watery.  My head feels as if it has blown up to 2ce its size, & aches terribly.  I can't think clearly.  It really is almost dibilitating when I am around people who wear it.

And there is no real polite way to go up to someone & tell them to please stop wearing it because it hurts me.  I have tried that approach with people I work with.  It lasts about a day or two & then they think they can sneak a little on themselves & I won't notice, but I do.  I just have to do my best to stay as far away from that person as I can get, which is difficult working in close quarters.

I really find myself getting angry that people actually go out in public wearing scents. I think it is very inconsiderate.  I work in retail & much of my work requires I help people, but sometimes I am so sick by the time I am through with them, that my productivity goes down the drain for quite awhile after.  Personally, I am sure I am not the only one.  I wish every person would save their scented stenchy things for their significant other at home.  I would much rather be in a room full of cigarette smoke anyday.

I LOVE the smell of a sweaty man.  Not the "I don't know what a bar of soap is" funk...  I love that 'I was clean when I started doing all this hard work and now I'm all hot and sweaty' smell.  ESPECIALLY if he's been doing yard work.  Fresh sweat, dirt and cut grass just smells sexy.  You can keep all that pretty boy cologne.  I'd rather smell a man that just crawled out from under a car.

Drat... I need to go change my undies.

You sound like you have an allergy to these things.  Some people have it -- I've worked in places where they've actually banned wearing perfume to work because of the severity of an employee's perfume allergies.  It doesn't seem terribly common like allergies to pet dander or dust or pollen though.

Try popping a Benadryl or a Claritin or something, and if it's at all possible for you to speak to your boss regarding the trouble you have, maybe they can put you on back room duty or something like that if it's so severe you wish to ban all of humanity from wearing perfume for it.  All they'd be able to do would perhaps ask other employees to watch what they wear, as they can't really stand at the entrance and refuse admittance to customers who choose to wear their perfume in public.

I love perfume, but nine times out of ten I forget to put it on, anyway.  And there's no excuse for the people who absolutely marinate themselves in it.  I'm not even allergic to it and it'll give ME a headache.  [8|]

I am and will always be known for "Tabu" by Dana. My nieces and nephews who grew up associating it with me, will still look around in a store if they smell it, to see if their auntie is in the store (And most of them are in their 30's now). I have always worn the same perfume. I have a trigger problem with scents. I can't stand it when a waitress or a nurse has too much perfume on. It sickens my stomach. I love light, airy scents for men. Too much aftershave or cologne makes me wonder what he is hiding underneath it.

Tabu!  Wow....  One of my dear friends loaned me a book all about perfumes, describing all the various scents, their components, and reviewing them.  Can you believe that our beloved Tabu is now radically degenerated into a pale copy of the original?  Many of the scents we remember from our childhood have changed formulas utterly.  I felt kind of vindicated to find that Chanel No. 5 perfume, cologne, and eau de toilette are all DIFFERENT combinations under the same name!

I wear Opium perfume, when I wear a scent.  It fuses well with my natural smell, apparently.

The men I have loved have definitely had amazing impact on me by virtue of the smells and tastes I associated with their hair, their mouths, their bodies.  A man's body offers a variety of delicious flavors and smells that can be terribly intoxicating...

They make sexy noises and feel nice too, though.  [:D]

OMG  I go nuts when my sub has been sweating and has that nice smell of a man.  Some people think it's gross but I feel that it's basic animal instict/biological reaction. It's basic pheromones.
