Status: offline 		smiles....I often write things in here that I regret later.... usually when I am up late unable to sleep and I generally feel that I open myself up too much and feel as if I am blathering on about rubbish.  (a bit like now!)

I thought that thread sparked some interesting debate.

Please don't regret what you write on here, you have a lot of fans.

Status: offline 		While I generally think that typing while drunk is unwise, I don't think you went over the line.  Your thread was interesting, and folks got to get riled over something that doesn't affect their lives in any concrete way---perfect internet fun. 

Feel free to vent in my direction on the other side, I have plenty of commiseration to offer.

But drunk posting... been there done that on my old WoW guild's forums and it didn't end very well.

Status: offline 		I don't recall anything I regret saying. However sometimes I do think I come off as a fair bit more sarchastic than I mean to reading over things. So I tend to try and edit for it.

I agree with this.  More often than I care to remember I've posted something that another person simply hasn't got: sense of humour failure, no sense of irony, whatever.  Some people make much of being offended and want nothing more than someone or something to dislike.

But thats because I have a tendancy to drunk dial my friends!  HAHA!  Well more like stoned dial, I take these pills for a medical condition and let me tell you I just pick that phone up high as a kite and call everyone and their moms!  HAHA!  I say stupid shit, nothing really regretful, but stupid none the less.  Everyone does it sometimes, just go with the flow.  You said you were drunk so whatever lol.  Nothing serious.  Just laugh it off, thats what I do :D

I am really glad you are apologizing for that thread publically. Because it was very confusing and I kept wondering, "What the HELL is going on in this guy's head?"
 
So yeah, take up the offers on drunk messaging a few people directly instead.  Hit me up if you need to, insomnia is a way of life here.
 
If it is any consulation, I never, ever drink while already feeling angry.  That is a bad, bad combination.  Because then I start telling salacious stories, singing bawdy songs at the top of my lungs and trying to pick fights, with men twice my size.  So not a good idea!  (Yeah, all 4 foot 10 inches of this feisty little half-Irish bitch.)

I have regretted several things I have written and posted.
I think twice when I post things that I believe are not necessary and
a bit "harsh".
I would think almost everyone on here has done the same thing.

We often don't agree politically, but we manage to get along, like
each other and not take things personally.

What amuses me are the "self proclaimed" Collarme oracles, members that feel it is their job and duty  to sit in judgement over other posters and their posts on a regular basis.
 
 I think many people have a "Judging others especially strangers" fetish.
I often think "Who the hell are you and who died and left you in charge?
We have Mods that do a great job!

half-Scot/half Norwegian here... the above is why I stay away from tequila and jack daniels now...LOL  Especially the highlighted part (although I'd make it men three times my size..LMAO!!)
