LMAO ok...I don't know why, but I actually found that quite funny. I used to do that to the youngins to get their attention...flick something at them lol.

It was hilarious... we all laughed!! Of course a spray bottle full of cold water set on stream works really well too... I used that for my saplings most of the time... hell.. it worked on the dog too come to think of it.

Yup. It was hysterical. I felt kind of goofy. I have no idea where I was, but picking daisies is as good as guess as any. Sometimes, I just go places in my head and its good to have ways of bringing me back without scaring me. :)

This is me, too. I don't find my attention wandering but in private I do find myself thinking too hard and too long before I answer a question he has asked that I find difficult to answer. He knows that whenever I don't answer quickly it's because I'm trying to figure out what to say. Then I get that the "Well...." in that special tone of voice.

In public it really isn't about my not paying attention or not answering quickly enough because he would never ask me something difficult in public. In that setting it's more about my saying or doing something inappropriate. That gets the strident throat clearing that cuts me off along with the slightly lowered chin and the raised eyebrows, which immediately triggers my "deer in the headlights" look.

I think that a slap across the face in public would be a little to dangerous nowdays. To many people(Im one of them) would take it the wrong way. Now if the woman was wearing a collar I would look the other way but still be pissed over it.

I start the sentece using my girl's first name. I've been planning to use both of her given names at some point, if I really, really need to get her attention. It's certain to get her into a submissive mode (think of a frightened girl in front of an angry teacher), but why waste such a good thing when there's no need for it.

In private: a slap to the ass; a pinch of the nipple; or His hand wrapped in the hair and pulling hard.
In public: the "look" with a raised eyebrow.

in public simply calling my name usually does it , in private play she has my leash and will tug it to get my attention.

In private, if he thinks I am delaying or trying to avoid answering him, a quick slap to the face and a stern voice gets my attention in prompt order.
