grins this is what I do, with play piercings -- and I'm actually going to school to get certified (next summer) to do everything from surface piercings to dermal implants. Body Surface Piercings Piercing humans is luscious!!!!

sigh...... Calla...what an amazing link, thank you. I loved the back-of-the-leg-laced piercing. One day...when I get past my love/hate needle issue, I'd love to have something done like the "between the pillows" pic.

The corset and other lacing-appropriate piercings are gorgeous but so many who want them seem to do so little research and have no understanding of the temporary nature. Cool, Calla! :> Davan

i love needle play,as well as placing rings in either for the moment or permanantly,for corsettry play.i'm getting ready to give my Alpha slave her hood piercings,and labia rings for her b-day.these will be permanant

There are several VERY experienced piercers in Germany who have had success healing these types of piercings for permanent wear. But when they are fresh... hell no, keep your mouth AWAY.

I have a pic of me, and a girl I met at a club side by side with our corset piercings. I do not have permission to post her, so I won't, but it was spectacular. What gets me is the people who go "O YEAH! My friend has one of these!" and then they go on to tell them that "friend" has had them in for six months or some crap. I call BS... you cannot get twenty surface piercings in your back, and have all of them stick around for six months. I love doing this with staples, as it's much simpler, and it heals quickly. Nice quick, temporary stuff for photoshoots and fetish events. This past DomCon, C did one on my back with staples and we tooled around the club for a bit with them. The next day I did a smaller one down my arm, which turned out very well, despite the fact that I ran out with one staple left to go. :( This pic is the one C did on me, it's a little loose at the top because we hadn't tightened it yet. (And I was all complain)

Absolutely gorgeous. I am tempted to get a side of me done or my wrists done, the temporary aspect appeals to me. And yes, I know, I will be searching for a reputable piercer and be as safe as possible. I'm sure there are some in my neck of the woods.

Thanks mwc! You know I had wanted to do it with the rings and be able to keep it in as long as I could. I had a girlfriend who did that and actually had them in for about 2 months before they started to obviously migrate. She ended up with some pretty good scarring though. As often as Sir likes to play with needles and do these kinds of piercings, it really does make a lot more sense to keep it at the play piercing level. That way he can do it at a party one weekend and if he feels like doing it again the next weekend he doesn't have to contend with working around scars.

Corset piercings are hot, but I wouldn't recommend them as permanent piercings, quite a few people said they had a lot of trouble with them. Plus with play piercings you can do it again and again and again...

corset piercings are definitely temporary but i think they can be appreciated in their temporary, fleeting nature there one of those things where you CAN be flighty about it because it ISN'T supposed to be around forever =p like you get a tattoo, you have to think 'do i want this for the rest of my life'? with those, it isn't an issue =p (i mean, granted you still have to research it, and understand any potential risk. like a skin infection can stay with you for aeons and can leave a nasty scar) but with the piercing itself, kinda neat :) corset piercings are wonderful oh also, has anyone seen the dancer Sashi, who did a routine with metal wings applied with several temporary piercings? pretty cool to look at

Having done a few I have to admit that corset piercings look so hot and I always glibbered when I got to do some, hygiene is something that nobody in BDSM should neglect at all, but especially when it comes to piercings, one can't be careful enough.
