well if enough on this topic has not been said.thenI shall for one repeat it................for get em, move on and laugh at them. It is very plausible they were never interested anyway. just fakes and wannabees. Now where did I read that before ?????? HMMMM

I also read their responses very closely, if it is not what I asked about or they blow it off....I blow them off,It has been my impression these have been a waste of my time before too

Hell, forget it, move on. You know the saying.....when one door slams shut in life, another opens.

This happens to me ALOT. i'll get to know a man in a long IM and by phone, and then..poof...he's gone. No communication at all. Warm, fussy feelings were expressed by him, so i am left wondering wtf? Some are probably indulging a fantasy they cannot act on due to marriage or other commitments, but i wonder if that explains it all. i have re-read my IM's in message archives and cannot understand what -- if anything -- i am doing wrong. i do not cyber; i do not rush into his arms; i do not telegraph that i need rescue. It's apparently just a phenom of the 'net.

No wait. There's your problem right there. Fussy feelings are a red flag for me.

What would be your response toward a possible sub if he/she quit responding, either online or by phone, like they totally went poof?

Being english, this first meant something totally different to me.

[:D]

Seriously tho' - if someone vanishes on you like that, move on... if they come back with a reasonable explanation, perhaps continue.

For the most part tho', a lot of fantasy players are out there. The fantasy for them is the idea, once the idea is there... the fantasy has been fed... for now.

They may have issues with crossing into reality, they may have real life limits.

In short, unless you have a phone number, do not commit any hard emotion.... its sad, but the hard truth is: fantasy is easy... reality is hard. And generally as a race, we tend to pick easy.

MHOO314 -> RE: What would you do? (12/2/2005 9:18:50 AM)

They move on, unfortunatelty still promoting bad social manners and graces---at least a word--but we do tend to hide behind the computer as a means of escaping our roles--also there are extenuating circumstances where computers crash or family emergencies happen BUT that does not absolve a call at least--
