Hi folks,

Does anyone have any tricks up their sleeve for getting their latex to be completely shiny and streak free?

Most importantly, keep it out of sunlight. Silicone spray will keep the shine.

Thanks.

I'm using a silicone spray but I just can't seem to get a perfect shine. I'm always ending up with streaks and can't seem to get the perfect shine that I want. I tried buffing with a microfibre cloth, old soft sock, my sub's underpants, nothing seems to work. Actually, it's probably my sub who should be writing this post as he's paid the price for the streaks in my latex <g>.

Food grade silicone... spray.

Or as an excellent substitute silicone lube works wonders too...Eros Pjur or Wet Platinum are my two favorites.

NO Windex! Windex (and most commercial glass cleaners) contains isopropyl alcohol and will break down the latex.

I use Wet Platinum or other high quality silicone (non-oil) based lube.

Pure silicone spray.  100%.  You should be able to find it at a local hobby store or at your auto store.  The commercial sprays for latex are just that, silicone.
