Never ending isn't it, the big boys stomping on the little boy's toes. Canada is ruled by big money as is the US. It will be interesting to see what happens. If you want to find a country not ruled by big money, they are easy to find. There are usually bombs being dropped on them. Remember the rumors about the government charging for each email because it competed with the USPS ? There was also a rumor that someone proposed that US citizens pay a form of "rent" on their money when they withdraw it from the bank. This was an official but not an elected official. You would literally walk into a store for a pack of smokes and your five dollar bill would be scanned to find out it's "net" worth. So you might find out it's only worth $4.80 if you had it too long. The first rumor has been debunked, but not the second. I have no idea how to search for it tough, in snopes or anywhere else, but it is likely to be debunkable, or it might be true although such a measure would never go into effect. Even with this ill informed and half stupid populace, any politician that let something like that happen would be out on his ass. I dismiss both as rumors of course, but in time they may come true. That is the direction in which we are headed, and no matter how slow it goes, it has not once reversed course. T
