The answer: one.
That's how many houses I own.
Seems Senator McCain either is so well off that he hasn't been able to keep track of his real estate investments, or else he's having another "senior moment" and needs to turn to his staff to tell him how many homes he actually owns.

This man is the one who "doesn't understand the economy" and thinks that being rich in America starts a $5 million a year... born to wealthy parents, he married wealth, and has never wanted for a single thing in his life...  but he claims to understand the troubles of the average American.

Yeah, right.

The answer: he owns four homes which he lives in on occasion, and 7 investment properties. It took his staff the better part of the afternoon to double check that... and they're still not sure if there isn't a couple of million dollar property or two out there still unaccounted for.

Hey, all you folks under foreclosure! And all of you who are going to be soon... John McCain feels your pain!

These are the difficulties one encounters when you marry a smoking hot wife, who handles most of the business stuff (pretty well it looks like).  McCain has been busy putting the country first.

Besides, have you already forgotten that with Obama's yard, it's best not to bring up real estate?

it makes me wonder why, if his staff has taken the better part of a day to find out the answer, why he would have the answer at his fingertips, or is his whole staff having a "senior moment".  Not to mention the potential shady dealings in how he came to own any of them as they have with Mr Obama's home.  You can resent that someone is doing well if you  want.  Not many politicians will actually "Feel Your Pain" (if i recall, Mr Obama thought $4.00/gallon for gas is not a bad thing, just poorly timed) nor search the couch cushions for spare change.  Just watch out if you get told "You're like a brother to me."

I'm sure it's just an oversight, you forgetting that Cindy is a junkie thief who can't even remember she has a sister, right?

How fucking bizarre that the Neocon Fundie base is completely unaware that Cindy, and her Old Man, made/make their money selling drugs, even if EtOH is a legal drug.

I'm the first person to appreciate a beautiful woman, but Cindy McCain is NOT hot: she just looks like another one from the legions of congealed permasmile chicks who are operated by their bank accounts, plastic surgeons and hairdressers, and prescription medicines. In no particular order.

kittn, glad to hear you say that... whenever I see her on TV, my first thought has always been: "Stepford." At least now I know I'm not the only one who has that slightly creeped out sensation by her.

I agree with you guys about Cindy McCain.  And Michelle Obama gives me the 'bitch on wheels' vibe.  No warm 'n fuzzy first lady to be had in the next four years, it appears.

I feel the pain of their foreclosures.  One way or another, I'm going to be stuck with the bill for people who are too stupid to buy something they couldn't afford.
