Has anyone ever read about the work of American Psychologist Harry Harlow?  Harlows experiments, while sometimes dark, tell us a basic truth about ourselves. We are just not robots engaged on a mindless search for fulfilling our biological needs. Instead, love is at the very center of our being. In fact, it can be shown to be more important to us than even our more basic physical needs. Harlows means were definetly disturbing, but his results tell us something beautiful about what it means to be alive.[sm=hearts.gif]

He experimented with animals.

greetings to all,

Harlow did the "cloth mother" (love/separation) experiments with rhesus monkeys.  They are written about in almost every elementary psychology textbook you will pick up.

well wishes,

I wonder if that is the same sort of  "science" some people use to prove that humans are polyamorous-because the bonobo chimpanzee is.[;)]

If someone wants to be a lover AFTER they've gone on about dominance...who's to say that it's worth it?
