In your opinion, what makes a relationship work for you. What kinds of things do you need to receive from your owners to feel fulfilled and happy?

Wow, let me make a suggestion here, go buy a copy of the loving dominant.

Email MasterFireMaam and TheTammyjo and ask where to get a copy of both there books.

Each individual sub/slave on here is going to have a different reply to this question.

I think a lot of us will have the same core and then variations. The core is that we want to be with someone that we can trust fully, someone that doesn't just EXPECT trust but is willing to take the time to EARN it. Open communication and a willingness to listen goes hand in hand with this. Many of us crave praise for a job well done.

Outside of the core, I treasure the times He remembers something that is special to me, enjoy that He wants me to tell Him all of my problems so that He can give me guidance, and like very much the fact that I am allowed to make suggestions. I enjoy having Him use pet names with me, and knowing that He's been thinking about me always gives me a warm glow. I like that when He asks me a question and I clam up for fear of revealing too much of myself that He doesn't let it go but has me tell Him what I am thinking about. It has really made me grow as a person. I like that I get excited just being in close proximity to Him.

The short answer is easy.... chemistry... the compatability between Master and slave.

The long answer is going to be vastly different for each and every person who could answer.

The ability to hold you steady as you follow your path with ever undermining you or making you feel worthless.

How can he put me right when Ive been so stupid... and yet he makes me feel honored & more loved in the process???
