BLKSIRESwench -> Formal ceremonies to please a Master (11/22/2005 8:39:07 PM)

Please indulge my posting here - i plan to also post on the "Ask a submissive" thread as well.

My Master enjoys formal displays of servitude and submission as they are depicted in literature and film. An example of this would be a Japanese tea ceremony or traditional dances performed by a Geisha.

For his birthday next year (i have a lot of time to plan), i would like to know if anyone knows of a location (in the U.S.) that teaches a woman some of the special skills of a Geisha, including the dress. i know these places exist in Japan, but traveling there for this activity will not be practical for us.

i would also be grateful for any other suggestions associated with these kinds of ceremonies. For example, are there any parts of "The Story of O" that would appeal to a Dominant as particularly ceremonial?

Any comments are appreciated.

Respectfully,
BLKSIRESwench

Check out some books written by Midori. I believe she discusses the tea ceremony, its history, and some of the steps to performing it correctly.

It's absolutely beautiful if performed well.
