I hate domestic chores...absolutely abhor them..but I do them for two reasons...I don't like leaving a mess and someone's gotta do it or it will just sit there and I'm not one to just leave it and two, because it makes him happy. I don't particularly like doing the chores even while I'm doing them but I like the thought of how he feels while I'm doing them. I like knowing that afterwards he'll be pleased for the job well done and won't be upset with him and really...to know he's upset with me is the worst feeling.

i don't mind cleaning...i love looking at a spotless room, it makes me feel good for some reason.

~FR~ I feel no differently in our M/s relationship about domestic chores than I did in my former non-M/s marriage and other live-in type relationships. I enjoy cooking very much and am a neat freak who enjoys keeping things tidy and in order. Not only do I get pleasure from doing such things, it makes it even better when my partner recognizes what a good job I do and I know he appreciates it. It has always warmed my heart when I see a good meal enjoyed and know my cleaning/laundry doing/etc. is noticed and appreciated. Even my ex-husband - who never really had much good to say about me - would tell you I'm the tops when it comes to cooking and tidiness. [image]http://www.collarchat.com/upfiles/smiley/laundry.gif[/image] It especially makes me happy to serve Master in these ways because He truly notices and tells me very often just how much He loves the way I handle such chores. His delicious, homemade lunches are the envy of His workplace lunchroom[;)] and I love it.................luci

Fox doesnt necessarily enjoy the chores he does around the house, but he doesnt like the idea of me having to do them. He is my little housewife, taking care of all the little chores that crop up in everyday life. He does dishes, he vacuums, he cleans the bathroom when need be. I cook and I do laundry, but he pairs socks. I dont know if he enjoys anything about the chores aside from them being done, honestly.No matter how happy anything makes me, if he doesnt like it he isnt going to magically enjoy it becasue of its effect. It just makes them easier to tolerate. DV

I don't find it boring at all. I clean my Sir's place and it makes me creamy while I'm doing it.

fast reply I dislike housework, always have done. I do the dishes once a day (by hand), I do two or three loads of laundry a week, I do the grocery shopping. Floors are done when they start to look a bit messy - about twice a month. Bathroom ditto - we don't use the bath, quick wipe around the vanity if it's looking grubby, I throw the leftover dialysis fluid in the toilet which is excellent for removing stains, and I wipe over the shower once a week or so. Kitchen is wiped over every few days, plus the bench is used for putting in the cannulas for dialysis so that is sterilised each time (3 times a week), it's just the right height if Sir sits on a chair and rests His elbow on the sterile draping. I used to have someone come in once a week to do the major cleaning, but I found I could do a better job myself when she didn't turn up for a couple of weeks....and I get to keep my money in my pocket [;)] so it's worth the inconvenience..... [:D]

Yes yes yes! I'm not going to pretend I am particularly interested in service for it's own sake, I'm not... Do I give a whit about the chores getting done? Hell no! Do I want to watch him doing things for me, to know he is doing it for me, to have him 'put on a show' for me because he knows he is pushing my buttons, to be this manly, fabulous, shirt-taking-off, chore-doing sexy 'take me now' thing?? Yes! Yes! I'll have some of that thank you very much.
