Worst habit? worrying over things I know I cannot change...and stress or emotional eating Fave food? my homemade Spaetzle and Saurbraten... Turkey dinner with all the trimmings being passed around a table full of loving, laughing, chatty friends and family. Fave drink? A&W sugarfree rootbeer Fave film? Sound of Music ( because of family memories) ... Dances with Wolves .. but,I love MelBrooks movies too Something we'd be surprised to know about you........ I write poetry and some of my erotic stuff has been published. I love a good joke . It's not obvious at first, but I'm really fiesty and rowdy.. And anything else you'd like us to know................. I am generally kind of quiet when I first meet a group of people....for about 20 mins and then when I am comfortable, you can't shut me up. I love to listen to peoples thoughts and experiences. I love to be asked questions, moreso than I will offer info about myself unprompted. Some people see that as me being overly private or secretive and that's not really accurate at all...I love to share, just liked to be asked 'bout what'cha wanna know about me : ) I'm really pretty open about myself and my life experiences.

What do you do for a living? Right now, I work as a prep cook in a resteraunt. I am also a student, but have taken a semester off. What are your hobbies? I enjoy knitting, reading, music, hanging out with my sister and her little ones, and posting stuff. Fave book? I really don't have a favorite anything. Right now I am listening to Modest Mouse, but I think I might be more in the mood for some Bluegrass, or I haven't listened to the Plasmatics in a minute, Wendy O. is so BA... Fave cd? Right now, in bed I am reading Sexual Politics by Kate Millet, and my purse has In Cold Blood by Fave possession? Without a doubt it is my 84' Buick Electra Station Wagon it looks just like this except without the kids. I love that car more then anyone should love any car that old. Worst habit? Since I'm fairly new here and not very well known, this seems like an appropriate thread to post in. What do you do for a living? I'm an IT guy, pretty much a jack of all trades in that field. What are your hobbies? I play music (semi-professionally), and baseball (definitely not). Fave book? That's hard to say. Maybe The Dream of Scipio. Maybe Cryptonomicon. Fave cd? Morningrise by Opeth (They just played here the other night and I missed them--dammit) Fave possession? Even harder to say. Maybe one of my basses (Carvin LB70, probably), but if that's so, why do I always want to buy another? Worst habit? Procrastination Fave food? Either yukke (Korean dish consisting mostly of raw beef and raw egg) or caprese. Fave drink? Beer, although coffee is a very close second. Fave film? Probably The Blues Brothers Something we'd be surprised to know about you: Since most of you don't know me, I don't know how to answer that. Most normal people would be surprised that I'm (mostly) submissive. I doubt that would phase anyone here. And anything else you'd like us to know: I seem to be turning into a self-discovery junkie. Whenever I think I have it all figured out, I learn something new about myself and it just amazes me. I'd almost say that I'm reinventing myself, but it seems more that when I do, I'm just finding out how I was supposed to be all along.

HIya UT!! I was learning to play bass.. AGES ago. had a Vox... the ugliest shade of orange ever... but the guy that was teaching me (it was his) told me it had been stolen ( I suspect he actually sold it to buy weed..sigh)

Hi Greedy Top. Bass is an interesting instrument in that it doesn't take a whole lot of work to be functional, but you can spend the rest of your life learning to be really good at it. Maybe that's the same as life... or maybe that's just pseudo-philosophical BS.
