Exclusive: Obama- Clinton feud reignites

Apparently, outside the convention isn't the only place where there are protests.

That roll-call vote could be interesting yet.

It will be an interesting fall campaign if Obama's most dangerous adversary is Hillary Clinton and not John McCain.

NEWSFLASH- John McCain found to have several babies in his basement, and tortures them on a regular basis by pushing lit cigars into their flesh!

I mean, if you're gonna make shit up, CL... at least go for broke, okay?

Fine example.  As articles are a foreign concept to you.  I didn't realize that CL wrote for Politico, and was published by Yahoo News... Congrats on the new job CL.

But just to push your buttons a bit more...

Slippage in Hillaryland

From a new CNN poll that shows Obama tied with McCain, down from his 7-point lead in June:

Sixty-six percent of Clinton supporters, registered Democrats who want Clinton as the nominee, are now backing Obama. That’s down from 75 percent in the end of June. Twenty-seven percent of them now say they’ll support McCain, up from 16 percent in late June.

“The number of Clinton Democrats who say they would vote for McCain has gone up 11 points since June, enough to account for most although not all of the support McCain has gained in that time,” says Holland.

This week could go a long way toward reversing -- or cementing -- the shift.

Enjoy,
Thadius

Tensions boil between Obama-Clinton camps

DENVER — As Democrats arrived here Sunday for a convention intended to promote party unity, mistrust and resentments continued to boil among top associates of presumptive nominee Barack Obama and his defeated rival, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

One flashpoint is the assigned speech topic for former president Bill Clinton, who is scheduled to speak Wednesday night, when the convention theme is “Securing America’s Future.” The night’s speakers will argue that Obama would be a more effective commander in chief than his Republican rival, Sen. John McCain (Ariz.). The former president is disappointed, associates said, because he is eager to speak about the economy and more broadly about Democratic ideas — emphasizing the contrast between the Bush years and his own record in the 1990s.

This is an especially sore point for Bill Clinton, people close to him say, because among many grievances he has about the campaign Obama waged against his wife is a belief that the candidate poor-mouthed the political and policy successes of his two terms.

Yeah, there's still some tension in the air - especially when the Lib media types start eating their own...

Rendell: Obama coverage was embarrassing

Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell was supposed to give “closing remarks” during this afternoon’s Shorenstein Center-sponsored panel discussion with all three Sunday show moderators — NBC’s Tom Brokaw, ABC’s George Stephanopoulous and CBS’s Bob Schieffer — but instead, he opened up a can of worms about bias in 2008 election coverage

"Ladies and gentleman, the coverage of Barack Obama was embarrassing," said Rendell, in the ballroom at Denver's Brown Palace Hotel. "It was embarrassing." Rendell, an ardent Hillary Rodham Clinton supporter during the primaries, now backs Obama in the general election. Brokaw and Rendell began debating campaign coverage, including the on-air comments by Lee Cowan, and when MSNBC came up, Rendell went after the cable network.

“MSNBC was the official network of the Obama campaign," Rendell said, who called their coverage "absolutely embarrassing." Chris Matthews, Rendell said, "loses his impartiality when he talks about the Clintons.”

At that point, PBS's Judy Woodruff, who was moderating the moderators event, said: "Why don’t we let Governor Rendell sit down."

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Obama won't take Massachusetts!
There are simply far too many Clinton supporters in that state for him to overcome and they are extremely upset that Hillary didn't get the nod!
Ted Kennedy holds *absolutely no sway in that state when it comes to the Clintons!*
His endorsement is worthless and is more likely a liability!
Come Nov 5th the Dems are going to wish that they ran Hillary!
Then we'll hear Howard Dean screaming; "ARGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
"ARGGGGGGGGHHHHH!"
"ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
