Is Obama gonna "save" the left?

quote:

Democrats open faith-filled convention with prayer

At the first official event Sunday of the Democratic National Convention, a choir belted out a gospel song and was followed by a rabbi reciting a Torah reading about forgiveness and the future.

Helen Prejean, the Catholic nun who wrote "Dead Man Walking," assailed the death penalty and the use of torture.

Young Muslim women in headscarves sat near older African-American women in their finest Sunday hats.

Four years ago, such a scene would have been unthinkable at a Democratic National Convention. In 2004, there was one interfaith lunch at the Democratic gala in Boston.

But that same year, "values voters" helped re-elect President Bush, giving Democrats of faith the opening they needed to make party leaders listen to them.

It's rather refreshing to find a political party that can learn from their past mistakes, I wish we had that here. You don’t know how lucky you are sometimes.[8|]

If the Democrats think they have any chance at all in getting "values" voters on their side.....they can forget it. Supporting abortion, supporting gay marriage, and banning prayer in schools kills any chance of that happening.

These people take pandering to a new level. They even make used car salesmen look good.

Yes, we are.  It's difficult for some to see that especially because of severe HUA.

Anyone who is taken in by the DNC "get the religious vote" machine may also want to take a look at a bridge
for sale that connects Manhattan and Brooklyn.  Give me a break!  The DNC has copied the Reagan format
right down to the colors in back of the speaker....and, of course, the speaker is wearing an American flag...what a joke.   Well..not really a joke since so many youngsters are really taken in by this fellow who is riding the crest
of popularity akin to a "one record pop group"...you know...the ones who's song we all loved but that all they
had.  Obama has one song...."Change"...oh...and his campaign song by U2...City of Lights which is an arrogant
slap at the "great unwashed" in America..."The more you see..the less you know".....Listen to the words of the
song when he is introduced...it's like a chimp in a cage throwing feces at the people who love him.
