yeah, I'm not too wordy in emails,generally.. I try to address things written to me, but generally not much beyond that.

and if you look at my posts, I generally keep them short as well..

which is funny, cause face to face you cant shut me up ...LOL

Block and delete the trolls and money scams, use form letter replies to form letters, ignore the people who want to be added to the circle of friends who have never corresponded with me, etc.

I find I basically put about as much effort in my reply as the writer initially puts into their message, if I feel we're going to somehow click as something more than online passers-by... But that's being fair, I suppose.

I find the emails that get the most attention from me are the ones where the writer asks questions... That's mainly because it tells me the writer is thinking, and somehow their interest is piqued... which is a good thing on both counts...

As far as the length of my replies in general.... I can be such a windbag if I get on a writing tear, you wouldn't believe...

Almost all the posters in this thread are women... you get unsolicited PMs MUCH more than us men do.
