I haven't decided on my costume yet. If I can locate all my pieces parts I may be a zombie. I also have a great witch costume. I do the whole green face and warts and black teeth bit too. It also depends on if I have to work and if the new company will allow me to dress up. I hope so! I dress up every year.

I don't celibrate or do anything unusual for halloween any more. At the very least I MIGHT rent some horror movies and gorge out on t hem, but I don't do even that any more since I have a partner who hates horror movies.

Now if there was a play party I could get to, and I wasn't restricted from play with other people, I'd go to the play party and get my ass spanked and flogged and other delightful things.

Every couple of years I dust off the witch's outfit and perch silently on a stepstool on the front porch ..... waiting patiently for the little monsters to approach WHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH

Great minds think alike. I do that too, though I don't become a witch; I'm more of a ghostie.

I sit very still and silent, like I'm one of those store-bought life-sized outdoor decorations. If one of the monsters gets a bit too curious, I'll move ever so slightly, causing them to jump out of their skin.

I'm evil like that.

lol... LOVE Holloween!

Last year i found a pretty soft baby pink blankie, and used that to sew my own baby costume..complete with snap down panel in back!.. hehe

I also found a HUGE bottle, rattle, bib, and baby bonnet all in pink, that i trimmed in pink ribbons.

Prob will wear it again this year, after all the work i had to put into it.

First year I was in the house I had it dark inside, was watching BSG as I waited for the munchkins. Well the couch is set up in such a way that with the door wide open it looks like a walkway that leads to the door. So you're going to see who's comng right? Except there's a path right next to the wall. I'd wait for them to knock, then just appear in the door suddenly with a bright happy Hi! I think word got around town pretty quick after the first dozen. [:D]

But of course! Mind I tend to be heavy handed on the candy, I think some of them were repeats. Sneaky blighters I tell ya!

Considering going to Key West for Fantasy Fest this year. It's been awhile. I've seen the best, funniest and most outrageous costumes there over the years. A chance to get really creative. Some of the best ones have been some of the simplest ones. I still have lots of time to think of a good one. But, of course, it will be a secret.

I will, however, share one of my past favorites with y'all. One year a friend made her own costume from dark brown tights and danskin. She made a dark brown tight cap with "feelers" on it and spray painted a couple of large banana leaves dark brown which she afixed to her back. She spent the night crawling around on barroom floors, nibbling ankles as one of our larger , beloved Florida Palmetto bugs. Cool.

Halloween is my favorite . during the day i dress up as a witch(long stretch huh?). i take the um's trick or treating.every once in a while i let out a hideous cackle that embarrasses the mess out of my youngest.i dont wear the green make up or deformed nose , but little ones still reconize me as the real thing. LOL. later at night i wear a nurse's outfit very short very tight, with real nurse's cap and stethoscope. i put on vampire fangs and thigh highs. then spend the night dancing at the local gaybar with all the happy drag queens who have really gone all out for the occassion .

I found a servicable gorilla costume at a yard sale last month. And I'm building a space helmet for it out of an old light globe, and some odds and ends... I'll be going out as "Robot Monster" (One of the worst movies ever made... and a GREAT MST3K episode.)
