"Cybering" Would someone please be kind enough to explain exactly what this means?
I have noticed that many profies mention that they dont "Cyber" but I am not too sure what this is. I assume it could be going on cam.
Is writing erotic correspondance, exchanging experiances, ideas fantasys etc considered "Cybering"?

A lot of cybering seems to involve the use of ** to describe an action. Strangely, cyberers also like to speak of themselves at the third person.

Examples: *opens mouth wide*, *drops to knees*, *moans* and *giggggglllles oh Sir*

Some say cybering is the most meaningful aspect of sex because it is all about interaction of the minds. Although we are all ashamed of this kind of role play interaction type activity which I have never played a part in myself.

I'm happy to admit that I love cybersex with my owner. Its fun and can sometimes be a really fantastic mental connection. I love to write and I'm good at it, cybersex becomes an extension of my mind and ohboy it can get seriously hot.

Yes its usually done in a chat room using the /me format.

That actually looks like this in a chat format:

No I don't use third person speak!

I'm devastated that I lost a pc that had years of our cybersex stored on it.

Cyber sex gets better the older you get. You get all the intimacy, arousal and wit of the real thing with none of the sweating, cellulite, BO and back spasms.

I see cybering as different than simply discussing fantasies and sexual interests. For me it was explicitly describing what we would be doing with each other if we were able to be together, while we played with ourselves, sort of an enhancement to masturbation. Other times he would set up a fantasy bdsm scene that we played out in cyber. That took a good imagination and explicit typing.

It is, but somepeople who have 'no Cyber' in their profiles may saying that they don't want to be strung along for inordinate amounts of time by someone who refuses to actually meet in real life.

To me, cyber sex is the most pathetic form of sex. It's all text. No voice, no cam, just words. Nothing wrong with words but seeing "I pull you down to your knees and whip you for being a bad girl" sounds like a line from a bad porno. I've peeked into the CM chat rooms and people do that sort of stuff and it just makes me laugh. Especially since it's all text, it could be two "lesbians" getting off not knowing both are old hairy men.

From what I've seen of cyber sex it lacks imagination and zest. I like to RP on line and it's always detailed paragraph RP, and no it has nothing to do with sex. So after years of good writing to see what people call cyber sex makes me laugh. I've seen and done sexual RPs and, when it's good, it's paragraphs with detail; sort of like an interactive novel. Not one liners of "I run my hand down the vein in your pulsing god shaft" or whatever. However, even the most detailed paragraph sexual RP doesn't turn me on so text just isn't my thing no matter how it's done or who it's with.

At least cam to cam you get to see the goods. Add a mic in and you're set. Though, I don't like either of those; I'm an in person kinda gal all the way.

i tried it once...a long long time ago & what i got was nothing, i was concentrating that hard on what he was typing and trying to think of what to say in response i ended up fibbing and tellin him i had to go...it bored me rigid! i felt bad and told him how i felt about it after.
if it aint the real deal then it aint worth the hassle!

I'm certaintly not ashamed to engage in cyber sex and have done it numerous of times in the past, but now I find it lacking and unsatisfying and honestly kind of pointless for me so I won't any more.

Umm when I was cyber sexing I set it to invisable so nobody'd see me , or I put my status to busy and didn't answer any ims. If It was an extreamly close friend like my best friend may take a moment to say having cyber sex in another im be back later in a lull during the cyber sexing, but if he was good and was keeping up with me in responce times, no way was I answering other ims. I was to busy masturbaiting and typing to him.
