Goals, always goals, need goals, life is a goal. So here's another. Lets skip all the political and politcally correctness of the word slave ::skip:: i've asked Master how to work towards that goal. He gave me some good answers, but heh, i want more! Inquiring minds want to know more (want to know more? -starship troopers-) So i'm asking here! (woot woot, feel special ~ as oddly i feel silly bout this!) He mentioned lowering of the head, eyes down, no speaking until spoken too.. ect ect.. Guidlines in steps to reaching the goal. Has anyone else have any guidlines, tid bits, or advice to throw in, on how to reach a goal of being a slave? P.S. remember, we skipped all the political correct meanings of the word "slave" Hmmmm.. yes i am speaking of the "slave mindset"

well i'm forgetful as can be but i have found whenever i get an instruction from Master i write it down,so i don't have to worry about forgetting. however, i am still in the easy part,of my learning.it will get much more intense w/ time.right now )i think) his main goal is getting me to trust implicitly and to totally open up to him. for the most part,the desire to achive said goal must be present (which obviously ,you have) or we wouldnt be here,lol. when i get more insight,i'll let you know. thanks for bringing up such a great topic[8D] because knowledge is a good thing.

Rituals, daily tasks, notes of adoration, keeping a journal, consistency (from the dom), measuring progress (towards goal), remember a master/mistress may teach as well as lead and guide and control, not all lessons you'll understand, not all lessons will seem immediately apparent, learn not to question, just do...seek to follow, but always, always looking seeing watching anticipating the needs of your beloved, their happiness a reflection on you, taking care of yourself mind, body and soul. Keeping in mind as much as you are learning to trust your master/mistress, they too are learning whether they can trust you to be their sub.

Everyone has their own training methods but I've always been fond of ritualistic ones. Keeping a journal helps, as well. Rituals can be simple or complicated. Sometimes something as simple as having to kneel for an hour infront of a mirror every day repeating "I am only a slave" can do wonders. Many people go for 'depersonalization' to get the same goal. I suppose it all depends on the Master. -nena{R}

Quite frankly nothing of what you listed to me has anything to do with slavery. Slavery to me is a position where the person is the others property. I can't really say how you get there, and I mean its not like you have to get there (there are plenty of other dynamics all completely legitemate and good). C~

I've been told to take notes because I forget stuff. Of course, remembering to write stuff down is difficult too.

For me it is actually about empowering myself to be used and made useful in all ways. It is about prioritizing and adapting. It is about thoroughly giving myself over to anothers authority. The path you take towards that will be your own.

I have a series of beginning Lessons that might give you guidance... They are geared toward male submissives and toward the Female Supremacy, however, the sections on Slave Body, Heart, Mind and Soul are relevant to both sexes. I will give you a precis. The state of enslavement is one which impacts all levels of the person's being. The body must learn to submit and accept what is done to and for it by the Master or mistress. The mind must be given guidance and education. The term 'educate' domes from the Latin roots 'E' meaning "outward" and 'ducare' or "to draw or pull" literally e-ducare, to draw outward and forward, to improve. The slave heart must be opened to the love of the Dominant and able to love in return and the slave soul belongs to the divine. To cultivate the correct slave attitude (in My not so humble opinion) the slave needs to understand that it is not hir beauty or strength or intelligence or wealth that draws the Dominant, it is hir very willingness to te trained, to serve, to give of hirself. All esle is secondary. Never doubt the sheer power of submissiveness! Some of the greatest movements in history have been started with the slavelike quality of saying :Yes, I will do as you ask!" including Christianity, which includes the ULTIMATE Submission unto death! The reason Christianity has become so polluted and defiled is because there are those who seek to conquer in the name of the Ultimate Submissive instead of to become meed and compliant. Realise the power and grace and strength of being a submissive slave and you will find that the power you give ti your Master becomes your strength and your joy. Lady Sonelle

i am probably going to write this wrong...which will incite some bizarre flaming...but i will attempt anyhow.... i notice with interest that your Masters ways to get you feeling more "slave" are all physical commands/characteristics. As a note a dog can be taught most of those things, it certainly does not make the dog a valuable piece of property...its just mimickery. My best advice would be a journal..but not one for your emotions..rather one for your Masters idiosynchrosies so you can better learn to serve Him. All the ins and outs of His needs, wants, desires...from how He likes His eggs cooked to what His lifes goals are. A slave is an extension of their Masters will....at best. In order to be such, you need to fully comprehend the mind, spirit and body of this man who and what He is and wants to be. This will enable you to serve Him far better than learning how to kneel et all...pleasantries assuredly..but certainly not hallmarks of "this is a slave". sabrina King

Keeping a journal of your dom's idiosynchrosies is not a silly idea...I know for myself I am very particular about certain things and if a slave does not take heed of how I like things to be done then punishment or dismissal could be a result. Good idea...very sales orientated stuff...knowing the arse you kiss so to speak ;) and much like what I alluded to in my earlier post here... Keeping in mind as much as you are learning to trust your master/mistress, they too are learning whether they can trust you to be their sub." However flip that coin and what are you doing but writing down the idiosynchrosies of a person you know? Thus I feel the physical acts of servitude and submission, rituals, etc are just as important (as tools) to aid a person into feeling subservient as anything they can do themselves. Not being able to look directly at someone because they've commanded that to be so is heady stuff and can and will put someone into a subservient head space. I like 'slave positions' for this very reason...positions the slave must learn and be ready to present at a moments notice. For the slave learning these positions, keeping in mind for whom they are learning them for, contributes to getting into a 'space', a 'zone' if you like. Been tested on these positions can help a slave 'measure' their progress, earning rewards for such dilligent obedience and willingness to please and task perform.

i think the slave mindset is to please...all the other stuff like head bowing, or kneeling, doing as your told when your told, or not speaking till your allowed or whatever other thing that pleases your Master comes from being trained in his way, your observations of how he likes things and listening to what He says in day to day conversations. Can you imagine what it would be like for a Master who takes on a new girl, who thinks being a slave is to do this and this and this..when all her thoughts have actually just come from the training of her previous Master....i think the only thing a slave can take with her at any time..is her desire and willingess to please..this is the slave mind..everything else is just learning how from your Master, and that is gonna be an individual thing from Master to Master.

Thank you Evil = ) <sigh> Journal sounds like a good idea, but then i'd have to empty my head and stick all down on paper. Its not that i forget and its not that i dont know these "things" There are just certian things i'm missing, that he would like to see in me. "Never speak unless spoken too" "head always down" "eyes down" "no noise during punishment" They are slight behavioral modifications. i suppose that is what i am looking for, asking about. Not training methods. Not rituals. Not what a slave is or isnt. Geeeeeez, i was really hoping that some one would actually know where i was coming from and trying to get at. A slave the mindset of a slave (and pls God dont tell me to be pleasing at all times) See okay, i know him. i know what he likes, how he likes it, when he likes it. i know whens a good time to talk, whens not a good time to talk. i know what i should do and not do. i know what makes him happy, i know what doesnt. i know whens a good time to be playful and when its not. i know when i can do something naughty and get away with it and when i cant. i know how far to push the line. i know what in his book would be major mess ups and what would be minimal he'll over look messes. i know how to piss him off (tho trust me, i wouldnt) and i know how to make him happy. i know what his goals are in life, in the variety of area's he's got goals in. i know where his faults lie and i know where his strengths lie. i see all the different faces in him and know when they are most likely to come out and in what circumstances. (did i miss anything?) So, i am not looking to learn how to be a better slave to Him. i am looking for ways to push myself further into the slave mindset. The slaves state of mind, as he said. (then he listed a few of those things above) LOLOLOL have i made any sense yet?

There is no "the mindset of a slave" only "the mindset he wishes you to have as his slave."

YOU know from our private convo's how i feel about life...but just for kicks here--- goals? i suppose...i SHOULD somehow find 'a' way to be MORE subbie/slave...but it is just not in me. MY core is 99% vanilla. i am just a wound-up tight hot wired old dude that is normally just plain anal. i just have so much to deal with, with my o.c.d. and p.t.s.d.--i just cannot BE that lil submissive boy She might like better. i am naturally........one of those on the hunt aggressive "wolf" type guys that has worked-the-streets all his life and all "I" know about is sheer survival. yeah..i wish at times,..i COULD be able to be more docile for Her...........hell i wish i could do it for a lot of people......like a lot of folks on HERE have trouble with me coz i ain't meek n mild.. sorry..really....... i like that YOU have the guts to try and the He to help. good luck my friend. see ya in IM
