good morning folks I have always been a little suspicious of the word "pet" even though I use it personally alot. I too enjoy ponies, puppies and kitties and foxies and all the little pets of the human animal kingdom. I love having playtime with a human kitty swatting at the trailing belt of my robe or nuzzling me in the morning. But I've also come across a variety of what I refer to as the "captive slave" These are the folk that start off their letters with "keep me in a cage, treat me as your pet, put me back in the cage when your done with me" and further conversation with them leads to things like - I don't want to work, I don't want responsibility, I don't want to have to wash dishes or do anything other than have someone take care of me. (Wow, I don't even get that as a Dominant!) Now - I know that in the realm of human animals there are some folks that like that and that's awesome! I had a wonderful friend who had a human puppy that lives fully as a dog and they were blissfully happy. But I see a difference between (for instance) a kitty who wants to curl up in my lap for an hour of stroking and then happily goes to help me with the house versus a freeloader who just doesn't want to live life outside of their fantasies. This is the "keep me in a cage and never let me out" captives that just make me go . . . hmmmm. And on the off topic of bdsm sounds: LOL When I had my first dungeon I had a Catalina Macaw (they used to be called Rainbow Macaws) named Master Scarlet that would mimic pain sounds "Ow" "Uh" and say things like "Yes Mistress." and "Bad slave" and "and even once warned a toy of mine "I'm telling mommy" He never would do the whip sound though. Peace and light Miss Lily
