I'm sure most of you youngsters have never heard of these:

Kimba (the white lion)
Underdog
Felix the Cat
Silly Willy (the penguin)

Well, what about these oldies, sblady?

Davie and Goliath
Gumby and Pokey
Birdman

....um, I remember Davie and Goliath from the Bible.  The cartoons were probably a teeny bit before my time.

The Warner Brothers, Looney Tunes are the best. Does any one remeber one called Benny and Ceil?
Ceil was a seasick seaserpent and Benny a young boy. It was full of puns, like The No Bikini At All.
Or Tear Along the Dotted Lion.  I loved those cartoons. My son got me hooked on Amie and I have all
three seasons of Robo-Tech on DVD. I watched that in the 80's.

I had forgotten all about Captain Caveman. I loved that one!
And the original Scooby Doo. I too hated when they added Scrappy Doo.
I loved the Jetsons.
Last but certainly not least, the Smurfs.

Oh man, you guys are really bringing back memories.  Faerie, I didn't think anybody else had ever heard of the old Hercules cartoon!

How about...

George of the Jungle (and the side cartoons, Tom Slick and Super Chicken)
Jonny Quest
Yackie Doodle (I'm just a little baby duck....)
Astroboy
Woody Woodpecker (I know, that's 5)
The original Alvin and the Chipmunks (6, lol)

(I loved Chilly Willy!)

Yay!  Hehe.  Yes, I remember all of them, sort of.  A couple were originally aired a bit ahead of my cartoon watching starts, but I've seen them.  I love Boomerang (U.S. station, focusing on older cartoons)

Footrot Flats for print,
the 'real' Optimus Prime voice. . .

Anyone remember the Beatles animated singalongs?

I KNOW!  I'm seeing all of these that slipped my mind.  It's awesome!  Cartoons and animation have always been a bit of a hobby (read: 'obsession') of mine.  Kimba... I actually have like 4 kimba dvds here.  I watch them now and all I can think is "Wow...  just, wow...  That puts a whole new meaning to 'foppish'." ;)
