Here is what is grating at me about this whole thing. I honestly don't know anything about this woman, certainly not enough to determine whether or not I would want her running the country. Unlike her running mate. I know for a fact I do not want him. But as for what is bothering me about his choice. I feel she was chosen based upon her gender and very little else. I feel that he thought he was in so much trouble that the only way he would have a chance would be to go shopping for a woman to try and snag all of Hillary's Unhappys. That is what I find offensive as a woman. I would like to hope I am wrong in my suspicion but my gut tells me otherwise. It is as though McCain told his lackys, "Go find me a relatively clean, right leaning, female!" and voila! I know it seems like a weird gray area, but no one wants to be chosen for a job based upon a facet of themself they came by accidentally. At least I wouldn't want to. I would want to be chosen firstly for my credentials, regardless of gender or race. I just don't feel that is what happened in this case.
