1. Where I just moved we have this place called the rootbeer stand...It's open during the summer only and you drive up and roll your window down and eat in your car. It's basically rootbeer and chili dogs but, the chili and cheese on these hot dogs is soooo yumm. and it's super cheap. It's been around forever.

When I was little my mom would make a game of us going to the rootbeer stand it was and still is a special treat.

and as far as the other questions things have changed so much I don't know about the rest. :P

well here in tennessee
the delicacy is BBQ.  and things cooked with peaches
two staples are biscuits and air conditioning
luxuries . . . almost anything a person doesn't actually need.  a decent hair cut, for example
the bad habits are starting meth labs, not taking care of pets, and electing idiots
i know there must be good sights and sites . . . lots of caves and historic places ummm, okay here

well it is central FL..

1)what is the delicacy or delicacy's?

supposedly seafood, fresh caught from the Atlantic ocean. you can still find places along the beaches that grab stuff off the boats everyday, and dont layer batter or such nonsense.

2)what is the staple?

tourons are a huge staple around here. we have more theme parks and tourist sites than most people know what to do with, not to mention Mickeyville. damn that mouse.

3)what are the luxury's?

year round boating, year round sun. hell's suana, within 2 hours of both coasts, generally within spitting distance of a some body of water, daily thunder storms, lightning flashing across the sky, the power and intensity of a hurricane, the Gators

4)what are the bad habits?

roads that are better than 20 years behind the population, Mickeyville and that damn mouse, hurricanes, sink holes, the 'Noles, bugs that will gladly suck you dry, 100% humidty 6 months out of the year, lots of tourons that cant drive and dont know where they are going

5)some good sites?

the swamp (one of the most beautiful places on earth) Mickeyville if you are a touron, Miami if you are old, the beaches, the springs, the small areas left of cattle country (god bless crackers)

maybe a bit one sided.. hehe..

1. hmm, corn?
2. I have to go with corn again
3.  maybe soybeans with the corn
4. poor drivers, people with almost no social skills at all.
5. nah, nothing good other than the site I made for the town we live in.  Still, so much going on here it isn't too good.
Right now my current event is a city wide rummage sale and a bonfire a week later.  I guess you burn the crap you couldn't unload onto another unsuspecting sucker.

1)what is the delicacy or delicacy's?

The Varsity, and Sweet tea. Gtfo with your plain tea

2)what is the staple?
   Deep Fried ____

3)what are the luxury's?
I can't think of any really luxurious places in ATL at the moment..?

4)what are the bad habits?
People behaving shittily during traffic, including myself. The, "My car's bigger, so I am merging into your lane NOW" is quite a fun game.

5)some good sites?

East Atl for the bars and Junkmans Daughter. Stone mountain for drunken Lazer shows, The Starlight, and everyone should hit up the Varsity for some good old fashoned 'why does this taste like it all came out of the same fryer' food.

in your city/state/country....
Where I lived last Port Douglas (where I am now isn't worth mentioning, just here for the money)

1)what is the delicacy or delicacy's?
Incredible exotic (and cheap!) tropical fruits. Many do not travel well so if you don't live in the tropics you will not see them.

2)what is the staple?
Fresh vegetables, salad and seafood, and beer at sunset on the beach with the rain forested mountains to your back.

3)what are the luxury's?
Opals, fine dining, 5 star resort spas, yachts.

4)what are the bad habits?

"People replying to your statements with "Too easy!". The very strong accent from the locals (think Steve Irwin)

5)some good sites?

You just have to open your eyes in the morning an look around. Every where is beautiful there.
