I like to switch up my spanking implements. OTK with my bare hand is perhaps my favorite, but I have one of those heavy extra-long art class rulers (with the metal strip removed) which I like even more than the leather paddle because it is far more accurate at hitting that sweet spot where her ass curves back toward her legs, about a half inch above her thighs (oh that is where I get the finest reactions) but then I have to actually restrain her because she cannot control herself and fights. It makes me smile.
Well, I know I am not satisfied until Mine has been able to quit fighting it, let go, and cry the way she needs to. The tears are a turn-on for me, yes, but more than that, she needs it. She needs to cry. Once the floodgates open, she can let loose of all the pressures that her work and family life heap up on her, then I can hold her close and kiss the back of her neck and tell her what a good girl she is (in my home, only good girls get spankings). That is what I consider a "good sound spanking."
I usually start a play session with a little spanking also, before moving into whatever it is I have decided to do with her that night, but the "good sound spanking" ritual is our tradtitional closer (if she has been good for the rest, and she almost always is). Even if the play time was so intense we need to rest and devote an hour or two to aftercare, the night just is not complete until her ass glows in the dark, and I get my blow job.
