Well, if there's one particular message, it's easy to do, either with a standard LED crawl, or even a stencil-cut or just inked lens over a light bar- you can just power it off the cigarette lighter and unplug it, or get fancy and hard-wire it with a switch. I've been thinking of doing this with "GET A HORSE" on the passenger window of my truck, since there are so many gawdawful slow drivers that I end up passing every day. Programming something on the fly would take too much attention from driving, and you'd end up being one of Those People.
