ORIGINAL: slvemike4u Firm regarding your 5th question,is it your opinion that being tapped for the V.P.slot by McCain breaks the glass ceiling? And if so, can we declare "Mission Accompished? Slvemike, answering for myself I'd say yes. And if McCain were to die in office then undoubtedly. Also, if elected, Obama could die in office too, it's not out of the range of possibility. Then we'd have "Jumpin' Joe" as president. I don't know why the Democrats are so afraid of having a woman as president or vice president. They didn't want Hillary and now they don't want Palin. And they try to call themselves "progressive?" Dems aren't afraid of having a woman Prez. Hillary got outvoted, is all. I would have voted for her had she won the nomination, despite the fact that she's a right-winger. Palin's apparently made some questionable decisions which make me question her judgment, particularly her attempted use of eminent domain to try and steal some land for a white elephant indoor ice arena. (like there isn't any other land in Alaska.) She's also a fundie Xtianist Dominionist who is anti-science and anti-choice. That alone makes her unsuitable for the VP slot.
