now up until a few weeks watching the debates on here really helped keep me stay informed and also help me find resources on issues concerning this upcoming election. so i would like to say thank you for that. but... a few things have bought the conflict in Iraq home to my front door. my father, as well as his best friend, are heading over into that mess to work in a noncombantent capacity. i also have a cousin who will soon be entering basic training. now for some reason this just kinda tosses my concern about issues and standings out the window. it reminds me of when those lovely people gladly blew a few thousand people up in DC and NYC. my parents were in Philly then. 7 hours before we got through to make sure they were alright. the next day before we found out that a cousin was alright in DC. ok, so there is the back story. for those people that have family, friends over in the Middle East, in whatever capacity, does a canidates stance or commiment to action play a role in your decision? do you allow your emotions for those loved ones, that sik 'em factor to sway your leanings politically? i am not quite sure how i feel on the matter. so i wondered how others felt about it. thank you lee
