I was just wondering how many others are interested in kitten play?

It is something me and my master would like to explore but i am amazed at how little information and toys there are out there for this fetish.

I can find plenty of puppy play things but nothing for us wanna be kittens.

I am looking for a nice tail (butt plug) and a pair of ears but this is proving rather tricky!

Would be interesting to hear from all you kitty's out there

Lexi x

I have a good friend who is into kitty play. Will pass on your username to him, if thats ok!

And for kitty stuff, I recommend getting to a petshop. I just bought a little food bowl for a friend into puppy play and of the collars I have most are from petshops!

I'm not into "kitten play." I have been acting cat like since before even joining this website or knowing what BDSM is. It's just my nature to be cat like.

Look on ebay or any store/site that sells costumes. Ears are easy to find. So are tails, but mostly pin ons. Could also look on furry craft/art websites, they make tails, ears, suits, whatever you need. Tail butt plugs I've seen, just search. There was a post on the forum and someone linked to a site that I don't remember at this point.

Collars can get anyway as with most cat toys and items.

Okay, so I don't play a kitty per say, but I'm all about being a little girl and pretending to be a kitty.  As far as the tail, there was a girl on youtube who had some kitten play videos, and said she would be selling them soon.  They were decent quality.  As for the ears I would check out all of those pop up costume shops that are rampant right now, or contact a toy company who does custom pieces and have them made.

When I play, I have a little bowl with my name engraved on it, a pink sparkly collar from PetSmart (also with my name), and a cirque du soleil style kitty mask I picked up at a random new age'ish shop.

Sorry  there is not much more out there, but Google is your friend.

Wait, here is a link to the girl seller I mentioned above.  I could only find her you tube account.  http://www.youtube.com/user/MissIsibellae

For kitty ears. I know they deliver to UK cos my friend has gotten them no fuss.

And I got mine in Camden market, not as good but only £7. On the cosplay stalls.

yeah i know littleskylark is very much into kitten play, shes creating a store selling items but she seems to disapear every now and then.
Just odd to find so much puppy play stuff and so little kitten items

arkitain -> RE: Kitten play (9/1/2008 10:19:25 AM)

Yup, another of the feline persuasion here!
Ears and tails aren't TOO hard to find.  I'd suggest looking at costuming resource sites of either anime or furry conventions.  Either one'd be easy to find the ears and tails at.  With a cat collar, it depends entirely what you're looking for.  (I find a really nice, elegant one from Crimson Chain that's a simple black leather band with a decently sized silver bell.  And it has a nice ring under the bell, too.  Comes in handy!)

Lynnxz -> RE: Kitten play (9/1/2008 12:38:11 PM)

It's almost Halloween! Insta-costume shops are popping up all over the place, it's a great place to find kitty stuff. [;)]  As far as kitty tails go, go find one you like, and then fix it onto a plug. More variety that way.

azropedntied -> RE: Kitten play (9/1/2008 4:07:19 PM)

Amazing how much can be  found and adapted  when  Halloween  comes around .. catsuits , ears , tails , fur paws , fuzzy kitty slippers , and of course  kitty toys adapted . Animal roles  cross  and  something can be learned from  puppy to kitty  to pony  and on and on .. I had a feline  and  found it very easy to transition  from  pony / puppy  kitty  with some simple adaptations .Just have to know  the kitty , they are curious sorts and playful .ooh yeah and fun !

OH YAH!  Another kitty!!
It is a rarity among the pet play, but we are starting to get more things available to us.
You'll want to come visit us kitties over at littleskylark's site
www.kittenplay.net

you can see some good stuff over there and then get to the kitten forums.
You'll meet plenty of friends (I'm kimonokitty), we can all lament together on our lack of representation [:@].
littleskylark also makes the best tails, and she should be opening her eBay shop soon
(settling from a move [;)] )
cosworx makes the best ears, but I think they're thinking about discontinuing them.  I just got mine because they said they had some left in the office (after I emailed them), but they didn't have the ribbons on them.  They might bring them back, just without the ribbons (or accents).  The picture is down, but if you want to get a look at them check out Miss Absinthe on the forum.  They're fabulous.
See ya there! (and be sure to introduce yourself)

Get the DVD for the musical "Cats" and watch how the dancers move. Work to get those movements. Also watch the Halle Berry version of Catwoman.

A key cat move - your knees and elbows never go far from your sides. Cats don't have much side extension. Level changes are made smoothly and with power. Learn to move gracefully from standing to demi-plie to your knees to hands and knees, and back.

~Fast Reply~

*waves*

Good advice, though I'd pass on the Halle Berry movie. From everything I've heard it's an utter rape of the character...

I wouldn't do a plug for the tail since that isn't where tail really comes out and I don't mess with ears because they come off when I romp. I have a food dish and a mat, a ball and a mousie (who is deeply cherished!). I chase lights on my hands and knees, bat things around and copy kittenish enthusiasm for play and delight rather than trying to make a human body look like a feline. It's just... part of my personality if that makes sense.

KillerKitten -> RE: Kitten play (2/17/2009 12:58:56 AM)

Aqua, i dont really do the dressing up part myself either, cept for ears occasionally , so what ur saying makes sense to me:P
I have always felt like felines were part of my nature, and i now live in a household of 5 RL kitties (only 2 are mine though lol).
I love it when they all get tired out and lay in the sun, i curl up with them and take naps, and my gramma comes in and laughs ^_^
I hope to get kitty items if i am a good girl :P

FelineFae -> RE: Kitten play (2/17/2009 1:23:12 AM)

mew
my japanese bob tail doesn't even have a tail...
lol, i just have a cat-side to my personality, though the more i read of this, the curiouser i get.

mozartsfuneral -> RE: Kitten play (2/17/2009 1:43:31 AM)

...damn. i think i'm the only *big* cat...

black panther...Mmmm mm.

EmpressOphira -> RE: Kitten play (2/17/2009 9:52:18 AM)

I don't think ears are necessary. My human pets seem to prefer the sensation of me scratching behind their own ears and treating them like furry creatures. I put more emphasis on the experience happening in their head so what things feel like to them is more important than what they look like to me. I have found that those fluffy blankets you can get at dollar stores are useful for draping over bodies and then petting through the "fur." It's a lovely sensation for both of us.
