I would ask different questions if I was considering 24/7 generally as a lifestlye or specifically with a person.

Generally I would ask

How do I define 24/7 TPE? What does it look like to me? What about this appeals to me? How would it meet my needs and desires? Would it fulfill me? How would it make my life better? What am I willing to sacrifice? How much work am I willing to do to be successful? How would this impact my children, my career?

Specifically I would ask

What are my expectations? What are his/her expectations? Are both sets realistic? Do they align?

What are the strengths of this relationship? What might we struggle with? How will we address those?

Is this person the type of person I would love outside a s/D dynamic? Does that even matter?

Do I trust this person enough to relinquish control/authority to him/her? If I hesitate in answering this....why?

What questions you ask, or what areas of your life you examine, are probably not close to as important as how honestly you are able to answer those questions and how bluntly you are able to examine your life.

Hey Sweetie....after talking to you on the phone u already know my answer...call me if u need me :) Remember...the first thing to discover is who u are....u can NEVER change a Master...but if u want it enough and its right for you...it will happen....Blessed be sis :)

well i found out today that i'm not willing to give up ALL of my personal power, yet ,some things i worked to hard to gain.

I like the term Control Transfer more. For me its not really about power, I feel like I retain my personal power and if anything through being in a dynamic that really resonates for me I feel more empowered. And similarly I don't find it to be an exchange, but rather a transfer of control.... flowing towards him.
