MzMia -> What is the full story of Palin and her brother in law? (8/31/2008 10:03:17 PM)

I have not seen this addressed, but does anyone have the full story on
Palin's brother in law?
Funny how he had job problems and all after he broke up with her sister.

Did she really have a hand in that?
Inquiring minds are wondering.

The investigation is ongoing MzMia,but what I have read goes like this.He still has his job(a five day suspension is the punishment deemed appropriate by the powers that be) despite the efforts of at least one member of her staff who she admits, though she says it was without her knowledge, made inappropriate phone calls concerning his continued employment.Gov.Palin shortly thereafter fired the Commisioner of Public Safety(read trooper commisioner) for so called unrelated reasons...the "jury is still out

So very odd, that his trouble's with his job began when his relationship
with the Govenor's sister hit the fan.
I hope he comes forward, maybe he should write a book.[:D]

mike, I am not talking about the divorce or the custody issue.
I am saying, did Palin have a hand in her dear brother in law having problems
with his job as a state trooper?
Corruption of power is an ugly thing.

It would seem her office(or one person in her office )did.My point about the custody thing is people get irrational and it leads them to make irrational decisions...like abuse of power...

Oh, mike I agree, custody issues can get ugly.
BUT, if she is involved, to bad for her.

Mz Mia,

I am sure this will all be brought out in the open in the next few weeks.  There are reports about the investigation all over the news.

I hope the Dems keep up their attacks on women. The sexism and anger towards Palin the past few days has been amazing coming from a party that claims to support women's achievements.

Knock out Hillary and then knock out Palin. This is going to damage the Democratic party for years to come.

Mia,

From what I have read his issues on the job were prior to her becoming Gov.

That is all I am going to add to these types of threads (a simple and quick snip), as they are getting out of hand on both sides.

I wish you well,
Thadius

P.S. Not that this is not a fair question to ask, if she abused her power in firing the safety guy, I say let the axe fall.
