I suppose I've been poking my head around and making my presence known enough that a proper introduction is in order. Call me by my user-name, and feel free to check my profile for more about my interests. I've got a keen interest in the lifestyle from both a personal, and intellectual standpoint, and have been involved for about 2.5 years, but researching various things for longer. I'm a volunteer sex educator, an outspoken intellectual, and, above all, a lover of discourse. I'll take standpoints I don't support, try to break-down my own beliefs, and even add a bit of humor that others rarely catch (the unfortunate condition of internet communication). If I make no sense, call me on it and I'll try to simplify my language... I have a tendency to think or type in circles and patterns that are difficult to discern.

I figure I should introduce myself in tandem with my dear friend Aravain, since he is the one who convinced me to join Collarme. I am quite a young dominant, but I have more experience than most expect. I've been playing bdsm games since I was a young teen, before I had ever even heard that acronym, bdsm. After my introduction to the scene, I have been as active as possible, despite my age. I founded a bdsm organization at my university, was in a DS relationship for nearly 3 years, and am what I would call a scholar of kink. I love learning and spend a good portion of my time reading about bdsm, learning techniques and spreading the joys of bdsm to any friend that I can. And I am here on Collarme to learn more and to converse with others in the lifestyle. I'm not the best debater, but I do enjoy intellectual discourse. I would love to discuss anything on my interest list, and even topics that are not, simply for the sake of learning. Although if anyone wants to be particularly nice to me, I would really appreciate information about the 'beginner' or 'curious' items on my list (especially puppy play, shibari, and suspension!). I hate you. No, not really, but seriously, I told you to join CM before Aravain was on here. But I'm glad you're here even if you're not really posting on the forums prods Aravain's doing more than I am at posting, but seriously... that was not nice. [:(] Did you realize though, your username abbreviates DS? But Aravain, glad to have you around, especially with the great posts you've been making (or books you've been writing. =p) And to the people that will read this and won't understand, I have shared an apartment with these two, and they are quite crazy. In a good way.
