Yeah, like Paul Frees before him, and his contemporary, Ken Nordine, the man had a voice that was one of a kind, instantly recognizable, and a personal goldmine. I liked the fact that he'd been gaining some noteriety of late, what with his "Geico" commercial, and the self parody he did in the trailer for "Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy." He was known for narrating as many as 30 trailers a day... which made him one of the hardest working members of SAG in history. Plus, from the way his friends talked about him... he was just a great guy!
