Are you suggesting that all Baptists are right wing republicans?  Or that those positions are held by all republicans? Or that no Dems hold those positions?

If a baptist is a true babtist, than yes, he/she is a right wing conservative.  This is due to their religious beliefs.  Dare I meantion Ann Coulter?  Do you remember when she said all Jews should be christian because christianity is a fast track to heaven and Jews are on the slow track?  That her dream of America is like a day at the republican national convention?  Surrounded by christian republicans?

As for your other two questions, what positions are you speaking about?

I guess you can expect that from most of the southern states though.  Florida is part of the bible belt, atleast the pan handle is.  Mostly all right wing republicans.  When I was in Alabama and people found out I was a democrat, they almost shot me in the face!  One old lady actually gave me this look like I killed her baby.  I hate the south...

You don't know what you're talking about.  It's not a regional thing.  It's urban, suburban, and rural areas for the most part in every section of the country.  As for the South......My entire state is controlled by the Democrats.  At the state government level, most of the South is still overwhelmingly Democratic.  So I am calling bullshit on your supposed Alabama experience.

Isnt there a town in Alabama that banned the sale and use of sex toys? I seem to remember reading about that a while ago.

HAHAHA!  Alabama is so conservative that hardcore porn is illigal and you have to go to florida to get it!  Well the closest neighboring state.  Florida was the closest to me.

Im so happy that the supreme courts over turned that vote here in Cali.  GAY MARRIAGE IS ON!  Its sad that people are so closed minded to other lifestyles.

I live in S. Carolina and I'm an Independant and there are lots of us down here!
Yes, this is part of the "Bible Belt" but not everyone who lives here is like that.
I'm from Boston, Mass origionally and I have a thick Boston accent and people here have treated me very well for being a "Yankee."
So you can't really stereotype people.

The bible belt is mostly all conservative republicans.  I wasnt stereotyping either, I was giving a discription of something that happened to me.  People really did flip out on me when finding out I wasnt a conservative, and an old lady really did look at me like I killed her baby.  I was so freaked out by the old lady that I actually went home and told my mother in law about it.  She thought it was funny, I was thinking that souther hospitality was given only if you were a conservative...

Not all of it is....Check out Tampa. Loaded with strip clubs. They also had a fetish convention there annually the past few years.

Actually I havnt spent much time in the panhandle other than driving through it. Not really a whole lot there. All the fun is further south.

Orlando has some good stuff too. They also have all the theme parks.

Miami used to he good back in the day but not so much anymore. Not meaning to insult anyone from Miami but the city does seem to be going down hill. Plus in some areas you would think you were in Havana.

HAHA!  But according to "slaveboyforyou" my experience was bull shit... Interesting seeings how Dothan is considered a larger city, next to montgomery and birmingham.  The closest sex shop to me was in montgomery, a little less than 200 miles away from my old house.  They didnt sell hardcore porn, mostly outfits and some uhhh basic toys.  Alabama, according to him, is SOOOO NOT CONSERVATIVE!  Also the south is mostly democratic according to him as well... Too bad its not, democrats are out numbered 7 to 5.  Thats counting oklahoma, which I dont think counts as the south but whatever.  Im a bull shitter...
